Amazing resort and venue. Our company,M&P yacht centre had our annual rendezvous there and they were very accommodating and kind. Celebrated my bf's birthday weekend at poets cove and enjoyed every moment. The view from the room was gorgeous! We had trouble with the fireplace and the front desk came to the room to fix it quickly. I let the resort know that it was a birthday celebration and they made sure to keep things a surprise. The spa had to push back or massage time by 15 min so they called the room. My bf picked up and they made a point to ask for me without divulging anything to tip him off to the surprise. :) my bf loved the resort and island. The was clean and we were able to bring my bf's dog. Everyone was super friendly. It was a perfect get away. We are definitely planning a return trip someday :) More...

I visited Poet’s Cove to have a massage at their Spa this past weekend. (September 2019) We really enjoyed our massages and refreshments. We also enjoying the small hot tub that overlooks the beautiful docks after our treatments. The only thing we were hugely disappointed in was the “EUCALYPTUS STEAM CAVE”. Before our massages we checked out the hot tub and steam cave.... when we opened up the glass door to the steam cave it stunk of musty mold. NOT of refreshing eucalyptus. Where didn’t even dare to step in and “steam” ourselves. After our massages we decided to try it one more time and again, we were hit with gross moldy smell... super disappointing as we were really looking forward to enjoying all the spas amenities and getting our moneys worth. (Our 60 mins Massages were $135 +) Keep this in mind when booking your spa appts! More...

I visited with my sister and brother-in-law for a few days before my return to the UK. The cottage, No 12 was lovely, great space and good layout, but unfortunately it was dirty! The place hadn't been cleaning since the previous occupants, with the exception of the beds being made, nothing had been done. Dirty carpet, dirty en suite and bathroom, dead flies on the window ledge, dirty fridge, cooker, counter top, sticky marks on dining table etc etc. After a visit to the reception, my brother in law was told a deep clean would take place in the morning. It didn't, after several promises a young man came to carry out the task. Within minutes you could see and smell the difference. In addition to the above there was a table light cable trapped in the mechanism of the soda bed and the hot tub was dirty. All was finally rectified on our last night! What a shame. My sister and brother-in-law had booked Poets Cove as a special treat for me whilst I was visiting from the UK. They received a free breakfast on the first morning as compensation, I personally think they should have received a reduction in the bill for the inconveniences caused by the problems in the cottage. Sadly can't recommend this. More...

Ambiance and facility are superb! Service is lacking. Just that one little step could take it over the top! Was here for a 50th bday party. About 20 people went to the bar at 9:30pm with a bday cake (as we didn’t want to disturb our cottage neighbors with noise too late into the evening). Not one single person greeted us or took our order.... Lights were bright and people ended up bringing in coolers of their own drinks and we all ended up eating the cake with our hands despite asking for utensils and plates. So frustrating. It was almost as if they didn’t want the business We ended up going to the spa one day as our room was not ready. We were hungry for lunch and asked if we could have a salad delivered to us so we didn’t have to change out of our robes. They simply said no.
