From the first day of the very first camp Petrie Island Canoe Club has been a fantastic experience for me, and I am the parent. It is so busy, excellent programs, great staff, Sarah Kennedy is the human dynamo, she knows so much about canoeing and kayaking, and she knows everyone in this sport. Excellent outdoors camp! Fun, affordable, amazing and knowledgeable staff. My son learnt to paddle and to conduct on the river, made friends, enjoyed the water and sun, and the island and he doesn't even like hot days. We'll be back next summer. :)
