Tim did a wonderful job here and working by himself, to spray paint our old dreary kitchen cupboards and update the whole kitchen in a beautiful colour. Refreshed several areas of our home with beautiful colours and painting, very nice work and I have no complaints. Will definitely reach out to Tim again for Any painting in this house, even though he is a very busy man, and a wonderful and trusting person to have in your home to do the work! I hired Tim because I trusted he was a good painter based on feedback I had received. I never thought of looking at his facebook reviews. He told me he was going to paint it himself with the help of a helper and it should take about 2 weeks. Instead he simply sent a helper who cannot paint. Unprofessional employee! The 2nd helper he sent was very sweet but he painted things with the wrong colour paint because Tim didn’t inform him of what colour the doors were going as agreed, so as a result my doors had to be repainted ....not once but twice which was a waste of time and resources but his mistake. Sloppy work all over the unit, paint all over my floors, paint all over my 3 brand new baseboard heaters, my appliances, wall paint all over my brand new trims etc. He was complaining about the job being on week 3 which is not my problem but I trusted he would finish it as promised so I surprised him with a half payment which I was only supposed to pay in full at the end. He was very thankful of my payment and promised to come back and finish it himself and fix all the stuff that is not properly painted during his evenings and week-ends but he came back a few days later and removed all of his stuff from my place which seemed odd. He never came back or was heard from again. 5 weeks later, in January when I contacted him about a missing $200 radio from the job-site he stated he actually had it all along and his employee had taken it out of our place by mistake. Mistakes are fine but when you notice you take someones stuff out of their place you should tell them right away, not wait 5 weeks for the client to ask you if you are the one that took it. When I went to his place to pick up my item, he told me that he was fully booked until April unfortunately and could not come finish it. He asked me if I wanted to just hire someone to fix their mess and finish the job and I said I would appreciate if they finished it. He then sent another employee who put in 2 days just fixing wall paint that is all over baseboards and some caulking but his employee even admitted that to properly fix the poor caulking and painting job that was done all over my place it would take 3 weeks and he also showed me that by scraping off bad caulking it was destroying my brand new trims so I should maybe accept the sloppy work “as-is” which I clearly stated that I would rather my place gets done properly. I never heard back from them since. Tim took my half payment and ran with it while leaving me with a mess! At some point Tim even said it was painted sloppy because “it’s just an apartment”, however at the price charged which was 4 times what I usually pay, I expected it to be done professionally. I highly suggest that you do not pay a dime until your place is completely finished properly. Some people just cannot be trusted and based on his other negative reviews it seems to be a pattern when people make part payments. Posting pictures of my place which is still not fixed, I have about 200 pictures of the mess but it would be pointless to post them all and Facebook only allows 10. It’s been 5 months and this situation is still not resolved. If you don’t mind sloppy work, broken promises and other jobs being started while yours is still a mess, I highly recommend hiring this company! More...

Everything was done as per agreement. Quality of work was excellent. They painted all the main floor walls including living room, dining room, hallways, closets, office, family room etc. and everything is perfect. They also did all our kitchen cabinets changing them from oak to off-white, and, the difference is amazing....it has brightened up our living space and made our home look new again. It is regrettable and unfortunate how unhappy we are with the quality and final product. We hired Tim Cormier who owns "Paint it" for our walls, some ceilings and kitchen cabinets. There are more window and door frames with wall paint on them than not, and you'd be hard pressed to find one clean cut line between the wall and ceiling. As for the kitchen, there is cabinet paint on every single one of our appliances as well as floor, trim, walls you name it. There are large drips of paint drying then being painted over, old dried up paint chunks run through his roller and onto our cabinets, and chunks of paint cracking and chipping off as the job went on. After bringing up the issues and problems with the quality several times, the owner finally decided the best course of action would be to resign from the job and "cut our losses" leaving us in a big mess with an unfinished kitchen. His reason for resigning was because we were being too picky and unreasonable. Stating that "we would never be satisfied with his quality of work" and then told us over the phone "if you would've told me the quality you were looking for, I would've told you I wouldn't be able to do it". He kept reminding us how he's done countless kitchens and for some odd reason, WE are the only ones he's ever had an issue with (which is not the case after talking to a few other people who hired him). After he resigned it took a month past due to just get our cabinet doors back. Tim is a nice guy and it is very unfortunate that it came to this but it doesn't change the fact that we have spent, and will be spending many hours cleaning up the mess of this "professional" job. It was a pleasure having Tim and Serge in our home to revitalize our living space. We started with the idea of painting the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and a few bedrooms and quickly changed our minds as we saw how great things were looking. In the end the guys painted every room in the house except the master bedroom and transformed our kitchen and bathroom.
