Thank you so much for teaching me to be confident in my dog and her abilities! Last year I brought a puppy home from Mexico and knew I needed to get started on training right away. Because of what Hana taught me and the work myself and family put in we have a dog that will recall off almost anything (she is only 1 ;) ), is extremely friendly and overall confident in herself. I previously had a reactive dog whom I took training with Hana for as well. I learned how to cope with her anxiety, why she had the behaviors she did (my fault due to lack of socialization, allowing her freedom before proper training and originally living out of town) and how to give her the best life possible with the above. Took part in the Puppy Class series at Ohana K9 Centre with my shy Mini Aussie pup. I explained ahead of time to Hana what my goals were, and what I had hoped to achieve at the end of class. Despite having 5 other members in the class, Hana made sure to give my puppy positive, reaffirming, and safe interactions with other dogs to build up his confidence. I enjoyed the Puppy Classes and was able to troubleshoot with Hana to ensure we were on the right path, and appreciated her positive-based training system which was the right fit for my current dog. Our dog Benji nearly pulls my arm off in his eagerness to get to obedience classes and doggy daycare. Our last two dogs - Coco (my Facebook picture) - and Benji were both rescues. I wish Coco, who passed last August, could have experienced Hana and her team. If you want to really know and appreciate your dog, and vice versa, give Ohana a try. Hana and the Ohana family have been no short of amazing with our boy. We did the board and train when Leonard was a pup and came home like a whole new dog. She treats Leonard like hes family and has been a huge help when we needed it most and all the days between. Whenever I've needed a hand with anything, Hana has always been there. Leonard also takes part in the dog walks - Sheryl is so great with all the dogs. You can tell she loves her job! She cares for them like they're her babies. Would HIGHLY recommend ohana K9 centre! Willow goes on her walks 2 times a week and absolutely loves it.
