Ohana Care is a Home Care Services provider operating in Edmonton, Calgary Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia. Our team comes to you to offer the best in-home care, support services, companionship, and free in-home assessments. Ohana provides services in the clients' own home, at assisted living facilities, in retirement residences, acute care settings, long-term care, community spaces, corporate settings, and medical clinics.
Please note our minimum hours per visit are 4 hours.

The actual footcare appointment I had went very well and I was pleased with the result. However, there seems to be a complete lack of follow-up or continuity of care. I have yet to get a second appointment and the appointment system seems to book "appointments" for midnight to 1:00am in an apparent follow-up system, but the previous one came and went with no follow-up or booking of the regular appointments I am to receive. Since then I have had zero response or acknowledgement for an appointment request I have made. I have used the online booking as well as leaving a phone message. I am pretty sure they have a good service once you can book an appointment, but for three days I couldn't make the appointment. From sending an email, to making several calls they answered the phone once, sent me an email with a document locked with a code which I couldn't open, I phoned again but no answer. that's when I gave up and found another foot care in town, after that they phoned me back but I already had an appointment booked somewhere else. I tried getting reimbursed through my insurance plan which was denied because the health care aides are not registered. This was never mentioned throughout the inquiries prior to using them. I assume I am not the only person to try & get reimbursed, so you'd think that it would be standard practice to ask.
