What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As an essential service, Nurse Next Door is committed to keeping seniors safe at home. Home is the safest place to be right now, and we are ready to help you care for Mom and Dad. We make it possible for seniors to live in their own home. Nurse Next Door’s extraordinary family of Caregivers can take care of your loved one so you can get back to being a daughter or son.
To promote the well-being of our clients and Caregivers, we have put into place a number of COVID-19 safety protocols including daily screeners, strict hygiene standards, and personal protective equipment.
To ensure we are doing all we can in this time of crisis, Nurse Next Door has assembled a Clinical Task Force with representation from across North America. We are constantly monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to stay on top of new developments. We are also in continuous communication with our Caregivers to keep them up-to-date on the most recent developments in the pandemic and to provide direction on how to best deliver care in accordance to provincial and regional health departments.
Caregiving
Our caregivers are fully licensed and insured and go through a screening process. We offer our services to anyone, anywhere, anytime and offer a non-contract approach so someone could use us for a one time appointment accompaniment or longer if need be. Our caregivers will come to you ( wherever you happen to be) Not only do we help people in their homes we can also do errands, get groceries, prescriptions, attend activities such as swimming or horseback riding to medication management, light housekeeping, meal preparation and personal care. We also offer respite care and all full-spectrum care up to and including end-of-life palliative care. Also we are following all AHS infection protocols in place and our prices include all PPE needed.
Nursing Care
Our LPNs and RNs are available for wellness visits that include a head to toe assessment if need be. We also offer wound care, complex medical care, palliative care, ostomy/catheter care, clysis, IV treatments, immunizations, swabbing and many other services on a 24 hour basis. We also work with the AHS Invoicing Model ($30.97 and match that pricing) and self-managed care as a vendor of choice.
