When I gave birth to my son at Kentville hospital the care I received was wonderful. It was very busy, but the nurses still made time for us.

I rate them highly. I went there one time ranting about drugs in the water, so they gave me drugs and some water. Now I'm a diagnosed schizophrenic who takes a monthly injection. I've been in the units dozens of times and every time everyone treated me very nicely. The units also happen to be a great place to meet chicks. More...

My Husband has been followed by the Inspired Program. for about two years. He has found it to be a very positive experience because the Healthcare Providers are dedicated to the program. He is followed by a Respirologist, a Rispritory Technologist a Social Worker, a Spiritual Advisor and a Nurse Paractioner. He has his own personal healthcare team. They provide him with the Patient Centered Care that is needed to successfully cope with the problems that arise with COPD. Whenever he has a flare up he can speak with either the Rispritory Technition or the Nurse Practitioner. This fact lessens the stress and anxiety associated with trying to go outside the home for treatment. There is an action plan in place that consists of antibiotics and prednisone. The most incrediable part of the program is that the team make actually home visits. We both blessed to have access to this wonderful program. Leslie the Nurse Practitioner is highly skilled in dealing with the multiple problems that arise during the COPD Journey. Words are not enough express the benifits of the Inspired Program.
