One Health has everything someone could want in a fitness club. The equipment is well maintained. From the shower area to the gym floor, this club is clean. Neil Cassar, is the most amazing personal trainer and fitness enthusiast. I initially came to Neil with the goal of just getting back into the gym on a regular schedule. Since meeting Neil, my strength has improved, my pain and stiffness has much reduced, and my overall quality of life and ability to perform athletically and functionally has never been better. I've been a member of One Health Clubs for about five years and one thing I've noticed is that it just keeps getting better. Apart from the excellent variety of classes suitable for all interests and fitness levels, the club is frequently being updated with very little inconvenience to its members. The restaurant offers a great selection of healthy food choices that you can grab and go or sit and enjoy. My favourite classes are Pilates with Kiran on Monday, Gentle Warm yoga with Amita on Friday, Spinning with Teawna on Thursday and Zumba with Eddy on Saturday or any day that I can fit in! The gyms are extremely well equipped and the trainers are outstanding. Apart from the fitness programs, One Health also offers social events for members. They take the time to recognize special holidays and offer free breakfasts, lunches etc that highlight the special days. I joined a Book Club run by Alexandra and I have been able to renew my interest in reading while getting to meet some amazing women. Alexandra spoils us with wonderful treats or activities every month. She's the best! I love this club and would highly recommend that you try it if you're not already a member. More...

One Healthclub is a wonderful place to work I know from experience because back in the day I worked there when I was younger when it was called the fitness institute. The staff are wonderful the people who come in and out of there to work out and to do other activities are great I worked in the Mississauga location for about two years and I wish I can go back either being a receptionist or a daycare coordinator. I did a 14 day trial but had to sign a membership agreement, although it was cancelled with no issues by Anthony. Absolutely wonderful club, only reason why I joined LifeTime instead of OneHeatlh was because they did not have (or informed of if possible) the ability to preform resting and active metabolic assessments. However that is for a very specific audience and should not be expected at most health clubs. I loved the mature environment, there wasn't kids running around like you would find at a GoodLife or LA Fitness. It was wonderful to start my day working out there, clean shave using the free razors, and then head to my office to work. The boxing bag room downstairs was awesome because no was ever there in the mornings and the room had a sound system with aux cord so I would blast my music and get right in the zone for a nice warmup.If you live close to this health club and are looking for a very luxurious place this is it. If you want a rock climbing wall and an outdoor pool and don't mind paying an extra $50/month then LifeTime would be your choice. Either way both places are the top tier of health clubs. I was a member at one health Clubs around 7 years ago and had a great experience with my workouts and physical results, as it had everything needed in terms of free weights and machines which are definitely on the more modern side, while being super clean (including the change rooms which I do use to shower at peetty much every visit). I had such a good experience with getting to know other members and staff that I told the head trainer Andrew (still there) that once I had completed my schooling for and courses for personal training, I would return and hopefully he'd see me on board in 6 months. Well things turned out that way and I could not be more grateful. From having been a part of many great transformations and fitness journeys of my previous clients (Deb, Sandra, Adam - if you read this I'm especially proud of the 3 of you to this day and am very happy you are all still regulars at the club) being exposed to the constant staff development, getting to know and staying with a great team of staff, it's been an experience I can genuinely recommend both on a customer side and a now managerial side. The oakville location is much bigger than it looks from the outside so come check us out- the mississauga location is great as well. I live in Clarkson so I do often go there for my own workouts on my off days to mix things up and utilize their facilities. If you are looking for that extra help and motive for serious change- I am also very proud and confident in saying that One Health Clubs offers some of the highest standards of Personal Training in the GTA as a trainer I had access to many resources aimply unavailable at other places (i.e. one on one programming feedback from our sports medicine Dr Hamid as well as other textbook like staff such as Andrew our head trainer).Wherever you end up, wish you all well in your health and fitness goals and hope you stop in.Devon More...

Great place to train. If you want a clean, state of the art place to workout and are willing to pay a little bit more this is the place for you. Staff is constantly cleaning. Equipment is all new and in perfect condition. Locker rooms are pristine with free towels, soap and anything else you may need. I srarted working part time and there is always a possibility to grow inside the company.I learned a lot about teamwork, quality service, and I keep learning. We have training sessions about differents books in order to put the theory in action to work and life.
