Good day, my situation is unique in that due to circumstances, I required a small plastering and painting job to be done not only well, but in short order.
I cold-called Newsam Construction on a Wednesday afternoon and explained my situation. Not dissuaded by the small scope of the project, one of the nice owners arrive at my home the very same day for an estimate. That evening, I had an estimate written up and in my email inbox, which I gladly accepted. On Friday, I was given a starting date, and one of their nice painters came to pick up my paint swatches to accurately match my colours. By Monday morning, the work was being executed, and was competently finished in one day.
This was as painless as it could possibly have been, the professionals matched and utilized the particular type of paint I requested, and made sure I was satisfied along the way and before leaving. They are clean and friendly, and aim to please. Who can ask for more? More...

We hired this company in 2012 to install a subfloor and flooring in our basement. We paid for materials and time . The estimate was a little lower than the actual cost but to be fair we did require additional items not asked for In the estimate. The work took a little longer to complete than estimated. My goto team for any home reno or home repairWe have been using Newsam Reno since we bought our home 60+ year old home in 2000. We have done at least 10 projects with them as we completely modernized the home. The team is of the highest caliber and the project managers are great. We just completed two bathrooms and a laundry room. They are stunning and the workmanship is fantastic. We have also done a cedar deck, all our windows and our unistone. We had our kitchen renovation work done by Newsam and couldn't be happier with their work.Their crews are professional, knowledgeable, punctual and accommodating. Something to really highlight is their site protection crew, they are amazing. I have hired this contractor for a few projects to date and have been extremely pleased the results.On all occasions, they have been very professional. I found them to be very considerate to ensure that we haven't been too inconvenienced during the renovations, making sure to seal off the area to limit the amount of dust and dirt spreading throughout the house. This was especially important when we re-did the guest room in the house shortly after we had our first baby.I also really appreciated the suggestions and creative ideas proposed during the projects. Trying to think of the best layout for a bathroom, and decide among thousands of choices for flooring, lighting and finishings can be a nightmare. They really made the job painless.The quality of the work has always been top notch, which is why we hired them again.Overall, a very happy customer.
