I can’t say enough about Michelle and Be Active Live Better! After being referred by a friend, I reached out to Michelle to sign up for 2 classes per week. I was welcomed graciously by Michelle and the whole BALB community! No judgements, only support and motivation. Within 1 week, I was reaching out to Michelle to sign up for more classes! For someone who hasn’t worked out in quite some time, it’s easy to get overwhelmed when starting to work out again... but Michelle and the BALB community make it so easy and comfortable to just MOVE! She often encourages you (with fun dance moves as well lol), offers modifications during the workouts and checks in to make sure you have all the tools necessary to make the most of your workouts! “One is better than None” is something Michelle said in one of my first workouts and it really stuck with me... I originally joined BALB in person, I loved the energy, welcoming atmospheres and felt amazing after the classes. Michelle has done an incredible job transitioning to an online studio and I have never been this motivated to work out in my life! Anyone can search a free workout class online but you won’t get the same sense of community and support that she offers. First rate staff and environment, never had a bad cut here (and this is coming from someone who previously went 10 yrs cutting my hair myself because I was never happy with my haircuts) - they even grow out amazing! I started Michelle’s classes with 2 a week, which increased to 3 and shortly after 5 because they were just that good! I truly look forward to every single day! The workouts are fun, different every day and challenging! Michelle motivates me in many different ways! She is fun, encouraging and there whenever you need her! I joined the BALB community in May doing 3 classes per week now I love to catch Michelle and the rest of the community LIVE at 6 am, 5 days a week 💥 Michelle is motivating, inspiring,full of energy and so supportive! ! Every class is different and modifications are provided. I also love the heart rate monitor app, it holds me accountable. I love that you can do the workouts anytime and literally anywhere. I joined the Balb community in August. I was looking for a different workout and different motivation. I joined the online classes and have seen a difference in my physical appearance in such a short time. Incorporating a healthy diet with this workout program has been a great experience for me. The anytime streams have given me the opportunity to not miss a workout. They have a very serious COVID protocol. They don’t let you into the salon until you’ve completed the COVID questions, sanitized your hands and your cellphone and taken your temperature. The salon is all set up 6 feet apart and they are not running at full capacity so there was only one customer just ending their appt when I arrived They sanitize before and after you and tell you at each point in the appt. I was so impressed after my visit this week. Industry has done an amazing job re-opening after Covid. Their screening and cleaning process were the most thorough I have seen and great care went it making sure I felt very safe the whole time. Strange what will open and what stays closed. Kids can go to day care but not safe for a haircut Shout out to Industry Hair and Esthetics for hanging in patiently! Once things open up I can’t recommend Marilyn Cirello-vendittelli and Dave Vendittelli highly enough. Their store is always spotless and I know they’ve upped the anti since Covid. They have won so many trophies for excellence in style and colour so can’t believe we have such amazing talent inSt Catharines and we don’t have to fly to New York or LA for this level of expertise. I’m a registered nurse at the St. Catharines site. Many of my coworkers go to industry and recommend the salon to me. I was not disappointed.
