What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Paying attention to the little things makes all the difference. With food and product shoots, I like to have control over every element - from the way the lighting casts shadows and highlights, to the styling that sets the scene, and finally, the post-processing where I fine-tune colors and exposure to make sure every detail pops. It's about creating a harmonious image that draws the viewer in and tells a story.
When it comes to portraits, my approach shifts to focus on the person in front of the lens. I create a relaxed environment where people feel comfortable enough to let their guard down. I spend time getting to know them, understanding what makes them unique. This isn't just about capturing a face; it's about capturing a personality.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Is this the first time you have created a project like this? Who is the intended audience? What is the intended use of the work/where will it be displayed? What is your expected outcome from the work? What is your budget?
What do you love most about your job?
When I am behind the camera, setting up lights and reviewing images with my clients on set is where I feel most myself. I love explaining all aspects of the set to the client if they are interested. I believe this adds more value to every image they purchase.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A natural growth from a photographer hobbyist to creating art for friends and family requests, to now being hired by large corporate companies.

My process often starts by sketching out ideas and plans before even picking up the camera. This step ensures that every shoot is thoughtfully conceived with a clear artistic direction. My expertise in both studio and natural lighting allows me to capture images in a variety of settings, ensuring that the lighting complements the subject matter perfectly. My background in marketing adds another layer to my photography services. This knowledge ensures that the images not only look great but also work effectively to engage the intended audience and convey the right message.

For editing services only I can receive and send files digitally. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro for video.
