I realized today that I've been attending Frank for his incredibly experienced and intuitive massage skills for 11 years now. He just gets better and better. Today I came in miserable, full of knots but left floating on air. Frank takes time to find out what is the source of a body issue and takes his work very seriously. I am very picky about where I go for massage. I don't like "one-size-fits-all" treatments. So I love that Frank and Rina adjust the massage to my specific requests, depending on whether I am looking for support in recovering from injury/work on balance and alignment issues (shiatsu), or to increase flexibility after a long winter of sitting at a desk (thai). First I met Rina. I had never experienced a Thai massage before and it was great, really really great. I don't know how to describe it other than it's like a cross between physio and massage. Very Functional and no pain. Then I met Frank and after his Shiatsu Therapy I had the best sleep in probably ever-the best in a very very long time anyhow. And for a middle-aged women,mom,grandma and RN this is golden. I've only had one QiGong class so far and it was a very easy going class and the discovery of new experiences was really fun. Frank is a lifesaver! Prior to coming for bodywork at METAbodyWORKS I routinely saw RMTs and physiotherapists. I had significant tendonitis in my forearm for close to a year and no treatment was successful; as a pianist and piano teacher this was particularly problematic. Additionally I have chronic neck issues. After several treatments my tendonitis was gone and while he calls me a "work in progress" neck pain/lack of mobility no longer affects my daily life. I have referred friends to METAbodyWORKS and received many thanks from them in return. More...
