My girlfriend and I meet infrequently for lunch but often opt for Indian food. After a delicious meal, we decided that this was our new regular place. The food is delicious, full of flavour and excellent quality. We started with the cauliflower 65, which was a perfect starter and delicious. We shared Chicken Korma, Chana Masala, some plain naan and basmati rice. Everything was perfectly spiced and truly delicious. The waitress was lovely, as was the woman who I assume was the owner, checking in on everyone to make sure everything was good. The tables are far enough apart so you can eat in private and the restaurant is very clean and in an excellent location near The Bay on Richmond at Bay. You will not be disappointed in this place. This was a wonderful Indian restaurant, the hostess was very kind and hospitable. The decor and the dining area was spacious yet still very lovely. Now the food. I admit, I'm not one for spicy food, but this place made a splendid job. It was a slow burn, and was more of a flavorful type instead of just feeling like your mouth was on fire. In fact, a lot of their dishes had a symphony of flavors all working and harmonizing with each other. There was a samosa appetizer dish that caught us off guard. Appearance wise, it looked like a type of single dish, but when we dug around in it, the samosas were in it, and the flavor. Everytime we took a spoonful, it was like tasting something new. It would be sweet, than fresh, than savory...it was just delicious. Same goes for the drinks. I had one (I forgot the name, I apologize) but it was a blend of different juices and ginger ale. Excellent meal! I had the spicy Chicken Tikka-Massala and it was beautiful. Flavorful and spicy, with nice deep flavors. There were little bits of dark browned chicken, and the meat was tender and perfectly cooked.The Naan and Raita were a perfect compliment to the meal, blending perfectly with the Tikka-Massala. Came here on a Saturday with my family and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and suggested great recommendations for dishes. Staying at the Hilton and was told that this is the closest Indian restaurant which is a highly recommended place.Man, was the reception at the front desk right! The food was full of flavor and the service was out of this world! You felt very comfortable with the staff as they made you feel right at home.
