I first went there to grab some Mexican grocery items that are usually hard to find such as certain chilis and spices. Impressed by their large selection:) I regretted not giving myself enough time to have eaten there that day. So, I went back a day later for tacos! I have a small appetite, so I opted for their smaller size tacos. 2 filled me up perfectly. The (very nice) woman who worked there reccomend the carnitas cucumber salad tacos for me as I was torn what to order with their large veriety...Best tacos I've ever had. Ever. Put an instant smile on my face. I am a regular traveler to Mexico and they are spot on authentic. I'm fortunate enough to live close by so I can enjoy this place more. Will reccomend to Anyone! I'm really in-love with this place; I find myself coming here more and more often, its almost turning into an addiction. The food is authentic and delicious for a fair price. I get a really homey vibe every time I walk through the doors, welcomed with smiles and really great food. Not to mention, they also sell a bunch of authentic Mexican groceries and premade dishes you can pop in the refrigerator and save for later! Fantastic little Mexican shop. Don't let the decor or location fool you, this is one of the best authentic Mexican places I've been to in BC. The Adobo tacos are filled with flavor and freshness. If they made the horchata from scratch (time consuming) that would be the icing on the cake. They also have a good selection of Mexican ingredients that are difficult to find locally.Can't wait to go back! More...

Well I can't believe I have lived in Ridge for over a year and today was my first time here! I have eaten at a lot of Mexican food restaurants because it is one of my favorite cuisines . My two favorite places are in the USA and I can say hands down this is the best Mexican food I have had in Canada and it's in the city I live in. The staff are so lovely and the food is authentic and delicious! They also sell their homemade salsas, rice and frozen burritos etc. If you love Mexican food then this is the place for you. Had to check out this place while visiting my hometown after hearing some great recommendations, and I'm happy I did. This tucked away restaurant on a side street is worth definitely checking out. I loved the decor, the selection of Mexican grocery products, they had a salsa station where you can add to your tacos, and of course, the tacos were great as well! The 4" tacos were pretty small so we opted for two 6" tacos each. We ordered takeout and picked up some of their fresh tortilla chips, salsa and guacamole as well. I ordered 2 of the vegetarian options - The chipotle potato was very spicy (warning if you dislike spicy foods or have a low tolerance to spice), but the bean avocado was a nice way to balance it out. This is a great find in Maple Ridge and will definitely be back on my next visit! More...
