What do you love most about your job?
I truly want to help my clients work through their feelings, thoughts and concerns and grow as individuals. Through the counselling process, I want to instill within you a sense of confidence of your ability to handle any challenges you face. If I'm good at my job, you will not need to continue to see me for help; you will have acquired the tools and skills to help yourself. You will become empowered and self-sufficient.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a practicing humanistic, person-centered therapist with over 15 years of experience, I work with adolescents and adults with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues and low self-esteem. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and it is my role to guild you in the process of finding your best true self. My approach to therapy is to listen with compassion in a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space. I use empathy, intuition and understanding to meet you where you are. I work at your pace in a gentle and nurturing way.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I offer both in-person as well as video or telephone counselling services. In-home visits can be arranged.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In-person sessions will be conducted in my Markham office location. There is a COVID-19 screening questionnaire completed prior to each in-person session. Masks will be worn throughout the session and seating will be at least 6 feet apart. I am double-vaccinated. If the client is also double-vaccinated, he/she may opt to remove the mask during the session.
