Leroux Studios is an incredible community based studio that is passionate about learning. I have been taking Spanish and Piano lessons for years and they have been very consistent & flexible, shifting perfectly to either online learning , safe , in-person learning or a combination of both styles . The teachers are so fun and very passionate about sharing their mastery in music and languages.As an adult learner that is very inspiring. I highly recommend Leroux Studios for any age group. What do you love most about your job?
We pride ourselves in personalized care, custom curriculum, and special attention. Nothing makes us happier than to see our students grow their skills, embolden their confidence and go on to become musicians and scholars.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My musical upbringing was primarily through self-learning. After attending music college later in life, I had wished that I had been shown the ropes a little sooner. I was inspired to start Leroux Studios to help people get a head start on their instrument with fun, talented members of our music scene. After 8 years in business, we saw a demand to broaden our services into academic tutoring and language classes to better serve our community.
Why should our clients choose you?
We focus on making learning exciting and fun, with a bedrock of understanding the theory behind it. We do not have a broad program. Instead, we actually custom tailor each class to the exacts needs and interests of our students to keep them engaged and excited about their subject or instrument. We love feedback as it makes our services stronger!

Last spring, we were hesitant about moving online. But "WOW!"... we were instantly won over with how productive our students were in their own environment at home, and the ease of workflow. An added bonus is having devices at the ready for teachers to suggest articles, demo videos and music tabs/sheet music for the students to pull up readily online, and to be referred to throughout the week during daily practice. We are offering online lessons via Skype, FaceTime and ZOOM.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
-The layout of the studio has been changed! We have spread out over the space and designed great new classrooms with enough distance.
-Each piano lesson will have two keyboards set up, one for the teacher, one for the student, set up 2-3m apart.
-Each drum lesson will have two drumsets set up, one for the teacher, one for the student, set up 2-3m apart.
-Some students have been redirected to our satellite location at Leroux Loft to ensure highest safety standards.
-Hand sanitization station at the top of the stairs and in each lesson room.
-3 sinks set up for handwashing.
-Doorknobs, handrails, and the main desk are being disinfected.
-Teachers are sanitizing between each class.
-Entire staff in masks.
-Half of our staff working remotely.

We offer one on one and group classes for English, Spanish, French, and ESL.
All of our instructors either have their BA in the language they instruct, TESOL certified, or are a native speaker/bilingual.
