i recently purchased my first home and ID helped draw out the plan for my unfinished basement. He listened to my concerns and walked me through everything i needed. After our first consultation he provided a draft drawing of the basement the next day! he made changes to the drawings based on my recommendation very timely as well. He kept me in the loop through out the process of obtaining a building permit and was available to discuss any questions i had about contractors as it is my first home and i dont know much.

It was a good experience to work with ID. He helped me on making the design drawings to turn my basement into a second unit. And in just 2 months, he successfully got the Hamilton building permit for me. I previously hired another company in Hamilton for the same work, I wasted 5 months and spent more money with this company and still not get the permit. Id's experience and his local knowledge certainly make a big difference. He also gave me good advice that some designs suggested by previous company were unnecessary to obtain the permit. It was a pleasure working with ID at Le Reve Designs. He was a good listener when discussing the project and always asked questions when something was not clear. When I called him, I got hold of him most of the time and if he was not available at the time of the call, he always returned the call very quickly during working hours and sometimes returned my call even after work.
