What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For headshot and portrait photography, it's definitely connection, feeling good and being relaxed for both the photographer and the subject. I like to make it a fun experience, so that after a while, it's more the feeling of "oh yeah, we're taking photos"! From just the photographer's perspective, it's lighting, whether natural or flash, good lighting is key.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get an idea of what the photos are being used for, whether it be for acting, Linkedin, dating or social media - all of that influences style and what you want to say with your photos.
What do you love most about your job?
The connections that I make with the people that I photograph.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The passion of taking photos is what initially inspired me. It really then grew organically into a business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I make taking great photos the number one priority over everything else and that involves working and connecting with whoever is in front of the lens. I like to work until we are both satisfied that we have all the great shots we need.
