Live-in Caregiver
A Live-In Caregiver stays in the home with your loved one for 24 hours a day, for up to four or five days at a time depending on the circumstances. Usually, there are two main caregivers who split the week, taking turns on weekends/holidays.
Live-out Caregiver
A live-out caregiver will come to your home each day, then go back to their own home at the end of their workday. They provide care during their working hours, and their main focus is ensuring you’re well cared for and tended to while they are in charge.
Companionship Caregiver
Offering non-medical services to older adults or people with disabilities. Unlike “personal care” or “home help”, there is generally no help with bathing, dressing, or managing medication. The purpose is to provide company, emotional support, and friendship.
