We popped into Kelly's last night to catch the end of the Seahawks game. There were several TVs, all within great view. The folks working were all very friendly and provided great service. I had a bday this August 9th with 20 people coming. We had made arrangements weeks before at another restaurant. When I arrived things were not as discussed and they only would seat 6 people to start. I called Kelly O's and spoke with Angel (keep in mind this is on a very busy weekend in a heavy tourist community), Angel not only arranged to host all my guests on a moments notice, but provided us a wonderful venue and experience. The food was delicious and very generous portions. I ordered the dunkin beef dip with their daily soup and stole some of my husband's pacho fries. The waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. The only complaint I have is my coffee....it looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile. We were there with our two grandchildren aged 3+ and 1+ to celebrate grandpas birthday. It was mid afternoon and the server was great. Our drinks arrived quickly with the kids first which kept them busy and content. We ordered appies which were delicious and on special. The steak I ordered was cooked as requested but was bland. We haven't been to Kelly O's for a long time.We had prime rib. Came with soup or salad. We both had soup. The Neptuned seamed a little pricy for 2 shrimp and 2 sea scallops. Well I ordered take out. For the restaurant being empty it kinda seemed like a long time for my order to be taken. The drink I ordered wasn't prepared the way that the menu described. And the fix to it was lacking. The food was good although a bit pricey. I shared it with a friend and fed us both so all in all it was a OK dining experience. Loved this place.Stopped in on a way to Calgary from Vancouver on a Boston Bruins road trip.We didn't eat, but had a few beers from a great selection on tap. Â What made this place worth the stop was the staff and atmosphere. Â Both were terrific and made us wish we had more time to stick around. Â Everyone we talked to so incredibly nice to the point that we ended up staying a lot longer than planned.The food looked terrific as well.
