JRRR BBQ is awesome! They came to the 2018 Midget AAA tier 2 provincial championships in Okotoks today and the BBQ is fantastic. I highly recommend them!

I used the pickup option this evening and it was AMAZING! Food was delicious and it was so convenient to be able to order earlier in the day for a specific time pick it up (food was wonderfully warm) and serve it. No prep time, no clean up. Yum. I had my first REAL pulled pork sandwich Thursday, infront of ReThink Media by the postoffice. Oh My. Now I see what the talk about pulled pork is all about. All I saw before I went to JRRR was greasy shreds of pork swimming in ketchuppy syrup in a big vat. Oh no, not JRRR. Smoked 24 hours, flavour all through and a tiny bit of sauce to compliment it. We had JRRR BBQ cater our wedding this past weekend for 60 people and it was amazing! Ryan was professional and reliable, and a pleasure to deal with, easing our stress and worries about making sure the food came together perfectly for our big day. He took the time to go to our venue beforehand to check out the kitchen area where he would be working, and he came on the night of the event hours in advance to make sure he was ready and prepared to have dinner run on time. We had numerous people complimenting our catering choice, and we were extremely happy with how everything tasted! We particularly enjoyed the mac n cheese, potatoes, and pulled pork with those to-die-for BBQ sauces! We also loved that there was plenty of leftovers for us to take home and enjoy the day after. I am SO incredibly happy with my experience with JRRR BBQ from start to finish. The communication was speedy and left me without a worry, the owner Ryan is extremely helpful and wonderful to deal with, and the entire day went smoothly. All of my guests (myself included) could NOT stop raving about how delicious the meal was, and several people asked for the name and number for the company as they are looking for caterers for their own events! I had Ryan cater a small backyard wedding reception for 16 people and it was outstanding! We had the pulled pork and added on ribs and everyone was raving about the food. Used these guys for our wedding on Aug 6th ..ribs and Mac N Cheese ... need I say more? We got so many people complementing us on our choice of caterers and how delicious it was. Ryan was super helpful and took a lot of stress off us regarding working with us through two separate reception venues falling through.
