I began my career in Quebec, working on two theater projects, projects of heritage conservation and residential projects. My career path then took me to Europe, where I am proud to have contributed, among others, to designing an experimental sustainable city, high end commercial projects and transport infrastructure such as metro stations. On my return to Montreal in 2017 I opened i•on architecture studio.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that each project is unique and calls for me to find a unique solution.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a lot of experience working on large cultural, commercial and institutional projects and I wanted to apply that knowledge to smaller scale projects.

Zoning and site analysis
Review applicable regulations and their impact on the size and overall shape of the project.
Program Development
Analysis of your requirements in terms of space, and emotional values that are part of the quality of space.
Concept design
Review several alternative options and sketch out the main idea, which will shape and guide the project from start to finish.
Preliminary Design
Draw measured plans, sections and elevations of the project, which will be used for further coordination with engineers and contractors.
Detailed Design
Finalize the plans, sections and elevations based on input from engineers and contractors and add key details necessary for construction.
Tender Stage
Assist clients during the tender stage to receive comparative bids from contractors and analyse them.
Construction Contract Administration
Assist clients to review that the construction process is proceeding according to the architecture plans and make any adjustments necessary to the drawings if new information is discovered during the construction process.
