What do you love most about your job?
I love collaborating with clients. Coaching really is a reciprocal learning partnership. I enjoy supporting my clients by listening, asking the right questions, and using evidence-based strategies to bring about change.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 20 years in education, I realized that I wanted to continue to support people, but in a different capacity. I couldn't be authentic when my own life wasn't balanced. Making this career change has been on of the best things that has ever happened. I love the clients I work with, applying the skills I have learned from education, and being able to live a life that is true to my values.
Why should our clients choose you?
Since the coaching industry is not regulated, it can be difficult to know if you are hiring a quality professional. My qualifications in education, my certified facilitator training and design thinking consulting certification, and my years of experience, are a huge value-added.
I want clients to choose me because they feel at ease with me. That doesn't mean I won't push clients and hold them accountable to their goals, but I do it in a thoughtful way. I am a great listener, I am genuinely empathetic, and my clients know I genuinely care about them.
