Growing roses today is not as difficult as it used to be because societies like the Huronia rose society educate the novice grower and dispel myths that roses are hard to grow because of a harsh Canadian climate. Planting the bud union at least 4 inches below the surface, the need to fertilize over the growing season has helped me to keep my roses healthy and vigorous producing multiple blooms over the summer months. I enjoy the open meetings, and all the information that is shared which makes my garden a place of peace and tranquility. More...
