What makes a great website?
Successful—to us—means a website that converts your traffic into leads/sales so you can see a return on your investment. (Or identifying your goal, and tailoring the site to achieve that.) For a website to generate leads, the site has to be a blend of what we like to call the Design Trifecta, (for lack of a better term...) It needs to:
• Look professional - the look and feel should mirror the caliber of the business.
• Have page copy that is meaningful to the visitor and taps into their motivations & needs.
• Work well, be a good user experience, be found in search engines, load quickly, etc.
When your website provides your visitors with a user experience that answers their questions and shows your business as the trustworthy and credible, you've removed the obstacles to stop visitors from becoming happy customers.
At the end of the day, if you want a website that's going to generate $1000s in sales or leads each month, you can't expect to get that with a $1500 website. I'm happy to provide a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your goals and look at what need to meet your goals.

What do you love most about your job?
Each job is it's own puzzle. Even clients in the same industry can have completely different needs. Learning about the business and their goals and coming up with a strategy for how best to meet the client's needs is challenging and fun. It's also really fun seeing the clients get excited about what we build for them. Many end up with sites that far exceeded their expectations.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was motivated to start my own business after being employed by various organizations that really didn't seem to understand website development. I felt there had to be a better way, so I created HPX Media and I've never looked back. Ten years of happy and repeat customers. Customers across Canada. I love it.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Phew, 2020’s been a bit of a ride, eh? Due to COVID-19, we’ve changed the way we do a few things to ensure the safety of our clients.
1. Wherever possible, we will meet with clients via Zoom or Google Meet.
2. Files must be sent digitally using a file transfer service like WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc..
