Hamilton and his team replaced two sections of fence and installed a gate. The project was particularly challenging because the old fence was integrated with a deck, bordered a greenhouse within a couple of inches, and the remainder was surrounded by established garden. In addition to these challenges, the old fence posts were embedded with a significant amount of concrete (as someone who worked in landscaping before, it was a lot).

Despite the challenges, the quality of the fence is excellent. Little details like the use of brackets to support the gate and crossbeams are indicators of attention to detail and an aversion to taking shortcuts, which many contractors might quickly take. We expected the garden to be trampled, but this isn’t what happened, care had been taken around our beloved plants. The garden emerged untouched.

Hamilton and his team were extremely polite and professional during the whole process. They had a couple of things to finish and swung by on a holiday Monday to finish up. My wife and I were impressed. They delivered on time and on budget.

We have one more section of fence to replace, which we are hoping to complete next year. My intention is to hire Hollis Home Improvements for that project as well. Luckily, there are fewer obstacles on that side 😊. More...
