I am a Mind Body Eating Psychology coach. I have a vast background as an RN in Nutrition,Behavioural Health and other counselling needs. Women's health and wellness is a passion of mine. How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
There are so many facets to healthy living. There is no cookie cutter version of a healthy diet. Learning to listen to our body’s wisdom is key to someone’s health and well-being. How we nourish ourselves with food and other things is extremely important.
What do you love most about your job?
I love love love helping people as they journey to the best version of themselves. I celebrate the successes and also the setbacks because they teach us so much. It is a privilege to be involved in someone’s discovery of their best self.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been an RN working for someone else my whole career. I have to follow the model they chose. 30 min appt etc. I love now that if we are making such a great discovery in a session I can say let’s keep going. I have the freedom to discuss all the concerns that come up not just pick one for today.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think clients should be very careful with their journey and their money. I love my clients and really want them to feel a connection that is why all my initial sessions are complimentary. This gives the opportunity for clients to get to know my approach and know if it’s the right fit.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I mostly provide remote sessions. I do have an office I have access to for in person if client desires face to face. It is located in Airdrie, Alberta
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Masks, Hand sanitizer and we keep six feet distance. Now that rules have changed clients sometimes do not wear a mask.
Coaching/support/education
Coaching sessions tailored to an individual’s needs. There is never a clear cut solution for many of our struggles. Many of us blame ourselves for weight issues, binge eating, over eating, emotional eating. These are symptoms of something we are struggling with in our mind or body. It is not about willpower. It would be my pleasure to help you as you make and attend to these discoveries.
