What’s your signature dish?
Vietnam's national dish... pho! But our vermicelli and rice dishes are also delicious!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We discuss your must-haves! Whether you want to go Asian or Canadian.. or even a mix of both, we're able to curate something special for you on your special day. We also make sure we have something for everyone so we always take into account any specific dietary requirements.
What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy and surprising people when they're amazed at how good our food is!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up in the restaurant industry. My parents owned a Chinese restaurant and although I had aspirations to pursue a career in medicine, the food and beverage industry pulled me back in when I was attending University. By my final year, I knew I wanted to make a legitimate career out of the hospitality industry. I opened the first Hanoi House in February, 2020 and we shut down due to COVID 4 weeks later. We reopened in April and built our business on take out, delivery and minimal patio service. Only 10 months later, we opened a second, bigger location!

Hosting a special event can be stressful and coordinating food and drinks can be time consuming so we're happy to relieve that burden from you. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
From the beginning of the pandemic, we've adhered to guidelines provided by Peterborough Public Health. We believe in doing the positive thing by listening to medical experts and adhering to protocols that are put in place to keep everyone safe.
Fresh Oysters Station
Elevate your event with a fresh oyster station. We will provide one or two oyster shuckers for your event and they will keep the fresh oysters coming. Sauces and garnishes are all included. We can source East Coast and West Coast oysters depending on your preference. A must have for any special event!
