I had a very specific vision for my brand, and Greg managed to exceed my expectations. He was so professional throughout the entire process, and provided such expertise when guiding creative decision-making and best practices. I really appreciated how he provided clear timelines and expectations for the delivery of assets, and was very receptive to the feedback I provided, while also managing to infuse a level of creativity that elevated the brand overall. Greg is the best! More...

I first began working with Greg in April 2020 to help me design and develop an online digital magazine business, named Res Publica. The entire project concluded with a fully designed and developed website in October 2020. In short, Greg is an extremely competent designer and developer. Likewise, he is an excellent communicator, project manager, creative and executor. I would highly recommend clients to work with Greg to enhance their branding, business and website.

From the outset, Greg was clear what he needed from me as a client and how the entire design phase would commence and move forward. After carefully listening to my requirements, thoughts and ideas, Greg split the process into actionable segments that made it clear to follow. Alongside his attention to detail, deep understanding of my market and competitors, the end result was a design that truly aligned with the vision I had in mind. I was particularly impressed with his ability to quickly grasp what I had envisaged and produce a final design from the ground up, which entailed a 12-page website, breakpoints for mobile and tablet, and new logotype.

Greg was also excellent during the development process. Once the design was completed, the project seamlessly transitioned into the development phase. The project required minimal intervention on my part – Greg was excellent in taking the lead, communicating with me when needed and finally doing a quality check and training session on how to use webflow. The development quality was perfect and matched the design to a tee. The website was also produced 10 days before anticipated, going to Greg’s ability to work hard and complete deadlines.

Going forward, I will be maintaining relations with Greg in order to grow and develop my business. This is a testament to Greg’s skills as a designer and developer. If anybody is looking to hire a high-quality designer part of the creme de la creme, do not hesitate to get in touch with Greg - you will not be disappointed!

Q&As

A great website grabs a viewers attention right away and convey’s the brand’s mission statement effectively and concise. The rest of a great website is well organized, timeless and easy to follow for both viewing purposes and site management purposes.

• Where do you see your brand and website 5 years from now?
• In one easy sentence, what is your brand’s message?
• What sets you apart from your competitors?
• What are the pain points of your current brand and website?

Step 1 – Research options and what will be the right approach for the client
Step 2 – Compile a moodboard and site architecture for client review
Step 3 – Create wireframes (if necessary)
Step 4 – Design Homepage mockup for client review
Step 5 – Design rest of web page mockups and compile a design element and typography hierarchy for client review
Step 6 – Design adaptive screen breakpoints (mobile and tablet)
Step 7 – Prepare for development

Who their competitors are, what current websites appeal to them, pain points they currently have with their website, their preferred timeline, what they want out of a new website, and a document of content they would like featured within their new website.

Working with a variety of people from different walks of life. Learning from them and also learning something new within the design process. Since design is ever-evolving along with the tech industry, you can never stop learning and continuing to improve.

It’s a very rewarding challenge that teaches you a lot about life. I want to be the best that I can be in my field of work, and I feel this is the best route.

I'm a one man team that brings a very transparent process which always keeps the client in the loop. This way nothing gets lost in translation and everyone is on the same page. I try to learn and improve everyday so my work is top notch.
