My first experience tonight wasn’t as enjoyable as I had hoped. Upon entrance all I could smell was pot (from next door) which wasn’t appealing. Appetizer was good (cream cheese poppers) but the burger was mediocre (flippin fromage) and the fries were not cooked, hard potato centre. The server did not charge us for the one order of fries or the upgrade expense for the dill pickle fries. Was just over $77 for 4 pops, 1 appetizer, 3 burgers and 3 fries. What an amazing, warm, welcoming restaurant! Mike makes a point to come to each table to chat with his guests. The food was phenomenal! The "Flippin Big Smoke" was tender, juicy and the coleslaw on top added just the right crunch!! We shared a dessert to finish it all off. The dessert today was a delectable chocolate cake topped with white chocolate pretzels for added crunch. It was super mouth-watering and moist. What a treat! Wanted to have dinner on the patio tonight but rainy weather wasn’t cooperating so we did take out instead. When I went to pick up I mentioned this to the two young ladies serving me (Rachel and Karly) and they both jumped right in to offer to go out and dry a table and chairs for us … so friendly and helpful! We had an great burger with brisket and apple coleslaw and a pulled pork on a bun for takeout tonite from your Tillsonburg location. Not only was the food so tasteful Cheryle did a bang up job of taking our order and looking after us. Cheryle you have the right manner for your job. Told our daughter who lives in Woodstock, and she frequently visits your place there. Keep up the good work guys and I know that it hasn't been easy this last year with the Covid thing. Amazing food!! Ordered online and everything was hot and ready to go at pickup time! We just got home from getting take-out at Flippin’ Mike’s in Tilsonburg. I have to say that we were super happy with the wings and the sweet potato fries. Upon arriving the restaurant is adhering to all the covid protocols before having us seated. This made us feel very safe and welcomed. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all our questions.
