He truly wants you to live your best life and provides you with the tools to get there. I started working out with Tyler 3 years ago. Initially he was at another studio and when he opened his own training centre I gladly moved with him. Tyler has been an excellent trainer. From the start he determined exactly what I wanted to achieve through training. Several previous trainers had ‘set’ programs and only slightly modified them for me. Tyler created a workout tailored exclusively for what I wanted to achieve. I’m happy to say that Tyler has accomplished exactly what I wanted and more. Being 6’8” my back has bothered me since I was 20. It no longer does!. I can do things now I haven’t done in 40 years. Tyler works with me to ensure every session is effective and safe. During the covid gym closures in Alberta, Tyler has been very effective in conducting virtual workouts to keep my progress going. After having a hip replacement in 2015 I knew I needed to work on regaining and retaining both my flexibility and strength. I knew I was not an open gym type of person and needed someone to help motivate and push me to achieve my goals. I went to three personal trainers before I met Tyler 4 years ago. Tyler spent the time listening to me and determining my limitations and abilities. He has developed and tweaked routines to help me achieve my goals and to show me how far I can go. Tyler has been able to push me past my excuses to make working out both interesting and ‘fun’ - a word I would have never thought synonymous with exercising. Building a strong trust with my clients to allow me push to them appropriately towards their goals. Keeping them accountable and motivated both inside and outside the gym.

What do you love most about your job?
Knowing that everyday when I show up to the gym, I am helping people change their lives by getting them healthier and in turn happier too!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a true passion to help people become F.I.T. to be their best selves! Decreasing/ eliminating chronic pain, improving posture, getting stronger and overall better functional capacity. Seeing that in my clients fills be with joy and fuels my drive to continue to provide that service to as many people as I possibly can.

I provide my services both in-person and online. In-person sessions are at Raising the Bar Training and Performance, a private gym dedicated to personal training. Online training is provided through a training app called My PT Hub, very user friendly and all exercises have video links attached to them to ensure proper execution of the exercises.
