Went on vacation to Niagara falls and needed a place to eat which had great food and preferred Italian cuisine to make everyone happy. What can i say.. omg was this the perfect spot ! Every dish came in bigger portions and oh my was it delicious 🤤. I had the Johnny's calzone with fries and let me tell you it was bigger than normal and stuffed to the rim. Loved it ! Fries were good too but at that point from eating the calzone , the fried calamari, the toasted bread with oil and balsamic dip, i was soooo full lol. Everyone in the group was raving about everything and the price was even better. Honestly couldn't be happier with this little gem. See for yourself in the pictures and you be the judge. Parking is free and big, staff is very friendly and decor is on par with the Italian setting. I would definitely go back if I ever come back to Niagara falls and highly recommend it to anyone wanting some great authentic italian food. Like and follow for more honest reviews! Women's spa week landed us in this restaurant because it's attached to the Old Stone Mill Inn St. Catherines. Omg the food is excellent. The service was personable and professional, and actually, the food came fairly quickly. I would say the furniture needs an upgrade, but that takes nothing away from the scrumptiousness of the food. I’m visiting and from out of town. I’ve already eaten her twice since being here for a few days. It will always be my go to Italian restaurant when I visit in the near future. Very welcoming and nice staff. I told the one worker “Josh” how much I love olive oil on my pasta and he offered to bring me some from the kitchen and even some fresh Parmesan. I found that to be very thoughtful and caring. Thank you! The first night they even allowed me to switch my pasta base for an olive oil based pasta. I highly recommend the Pasta Rustica with olive oil. EVERY Dish I tried was absolutely divine. I Highly recommend the pasta rustica, chicken parmigiana and the Italian wedding soup is deliciously made as well as the roasted red pepper soup. The only thing that was just a little too much on the sugary sweet side is the chocolate explosive cake. That’s just preference though, but if you love cake to be nice and sweet then this will definitely hit your sweet spot. I’ll definitely be back the next time I come for a visit. Food was excellent! We had a very nice waiter who was very kind. We got wedding soup that was home made. Our waitor asked if wanted to bring some home for free. He was very nice. They had great pizza. The pizza looked great and tasted great. They had the best spaghetti and chicken. They even have their own sauce. The over all experience was awesome. We have been here before and had a 5 star experience! The old brick building itself is amazing! This time was underwhelming to say the least. The food was average and overpriced. The worst part was the music was so loud that our entire family couldn't even hear each other. The $38 lobster "special" barely had any lobster. I highly recommend this restaurant, I ordered the lemon pepper salmon with vegetables and their house salad with Balsamic vinegar dressing. It was fresh, served hot and yes DELICIOUS !!! Our waitress was lovely and always coming to our table asking us if everything is OK or that she would be right with us. I felt bad because there was a rude customer yelling at her and she did not deserve that, the manager handled it and mentioned to the customer they are NOT to talk to their staff like that. Worst customer service. It is my first time dining in in Johnny Rocco, I always order UberEat from them. We came in at around 9:45pm. The waitress walked pass us twice and ignored us while the restaurant was not busy at all with only 4 tables seated outside in the patio. Finally one of the waiter seated us.
