Executive Suites Hotel Metro Vancouver

Hotel was in a great location and our rooms were nice and clean. Our room was considered a suite and it was really small. Kind of like a New York hotel . It was my first time to Vancouver so maybe that is the norm. It was nice to have a restaurant at the hotel and there was live music one night that we were there. The only complaint I have is that we had to pay to park there each day and I didn't appreciate that. That may be the norm for that area but I think it is wrong in every way. More...

Over my expectations super clean, room had good amenities and size. Perfect location for my needs. Booking last minute was easy and when I got there, staff was very helpful, Pollyanna did her best to help me finding a specific location for a work meeting. Our event needed extra lighting'in the function room, they made the impossible possible for us. We don't want to be interrupted during our events, they leave us alone. My family and I came for a little family getaway from the snowy cold of Alberta and were greeted but the nicest employee working behind the desk. Kim was an absolute delight the entire stay. She helped us with first aid supplies, lost and found items and even was our server on the Saturday in the restaurant! She made our time here in the lower mainland even more spectacular. We had an amazing trip and experience here. We were especially impressed with Kim who seemed to be a doer of all things. At one point she went from front desk to restaurant server and then back to front desk. She seemed to always be around. She was excellent with the kids and even got excited about my sons sweet face cut with him when he cut himself and required first aid. She made recommendations and never failed to wish us a cheerful good morning and good night. The kids absolutely loved her and started saying good morning to her or asking where she was if they didn’t see her. She went out of her way to make sure our trip was excellent. Employee of the year for sure! Thanks for being awesome Kim! You made our trip extra special. Housekeeping was pretty awesome too! Our kids built a fort in the living room and housekeeping made the bed inside the fort for them and left a note telling the boys how cool it was. I attended a 3 day workshop here and the quality of the service and staff was amazing! Everyone went out of their way and above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Great service and friendly staff but the rooms are really small special the one we were in. Barely any room to walk around. It was all tight. When we walked in the room, it had a funky smell to it and after a while I guess we got used to it. Nice washroom though. Has a great restaurant in the hotel with happy hour special from 2 to 530. Live music playing in the evening. Great location to have this hotel because it has other restaurants as well walking distance like Cactus Club same plaza and Joeys Restaurant. They also got happy hour going on to 3 to 6 then 9 to close. Skytrain Gilmore station is also 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. You can go anywhere without needing to drive. We ended up going bowling at Revs. Was a pretty fun night. Will definitely be back because the location is very convenience to get around. More...

First, Polyana at the reception desk is amazing. She listened carefully to my questions and quickly solved problems to ensure I had a great stay. For instance, my room keys didn't work, but housekeeping didn't miss a beat and let us in our room. Then, I called Polyana and she sent up new keys right away instead of making me go down to the lobby for them. She also went out of her way to help fix my reservation to ensure I received the right number of breakfast vouchers. To be fair, the room's a bit dated but you can't put a price on accommodating staff. They were friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted me to enjoy my stay. More...
