Evolved offers 1 on 1 personal strength training that is brief and safe. Our evidence-based slow motion protocol removes momentum and creates a deep level of muscular fatigue, the stimulus needed to build more strength and keep muscles toned and firmed. Because of the brevity and infrequency (1-2x per week), our clients are able to sustain results over the long term without spending hours a week at the gym. The training area is private, clean and distraction-free. Our expert trainers are friendly, professional, focused and super attentive to every detail of our clients' workouts. All these factors ensure exercise that is efficient, effective, safe and something our clients can keep up. Consistency is always the key; our workout is easily incorporated into a healthy lifestyle for our clients.

I LOVE helping people be healthy, fit and confident.

At age 45 I retired from my career as an athlete/coach and became very sedentary for 5 years. At 50, I sought a way to feel healthy and fit again. The big box gyms and boot camps held zero appeal. When I was introduced to the "Super Slow" weight lifting protocol in 2012, I knew immediately that I would open a studio and go back to supporting others to be healthy, strong and fit. I was especially happy in my 50s to find a way to age positively while supporting others to do same. I opened Kensington studio in late fall 2013 and now have the satisfaction of helping others in a way that is deeply meaningful to me, while staying very healthy and active now in my 60's.

Evolved protocol offers a sustainable way to maintain muscle mass and strength (and aerobic capacity) even for the busiest person or those who hate the gym scene. Our expert, kind, motivating trainers take care of all the details - set up, attentive supervision /coaching and record-keeping. Clients do not have to worry about doing it right or getting their best results. Our clients feel proud of themselves after their brief workout as they have safely been pushed beyond what they could do on their own, they feel the pump and metabolic calorie burn of a great workout and they have not spent time away from the other important things in their lives to do so.

Yes, we offer an extremely effective 30 minute remote workout for those clients who do not come into the studio.

Because our protocol is 1on1 we were able to distance 2 metres easily and still coach our clients effectively on the medical quality weight lifting machines. There is always only two people in the training room at a time.
