From beginning to end Johnny at Entity was absolutely amazing. Not only did he provide wonderful DJ service but before the wedding day itself he was nothing but attentive and caring. Always giving his advice and making sure we were doing ok. Upon wedding day he and his team are extremely professional and kind. The music during dinner service was exactly what we liked and it had our guests immersed in wedding bliss AND nostalgia. When it came to party time, the way he flows between tracks is masterful. The song never goes on for too long and each song played is just as good, if not better than the last. His remixes are fire too. I HIGHLY recommend his DJ service as well as his PhotoBooth service too. The package for this is way better than any other you can find. I’ve been to so many weddings with so many photo booths and his is the only one where the flash isn’t too bright and the end result picture is just perfect. I attended my friend's wedding in June where Johnny was the DJ, we had originally paid a deposit for another DJ for our own wedding in September but opted to book Johnny and give up our deposit because he was that amazing! Leading up to the wedding, Johnny was quick to respond to emails and questions, which I found to be very professional. Our wedding was on Galiano Island, so logistically it was a bit more complicated, but Johnny figured it all out without bothering us at all on our wedding day. Throughout dinner, Johnny played so many great songs for us to sing along to as well as ensured that our emcee transitions were flawless. On the dance floor, Johnny read the crowd so well and we received so many compliments from our friends about our DJ. His transitions and song selections are the best! 5 stars for DJ Johnny! He incorporated all the songs we had given him prior to the wedding (a list that included different genres) and played all of them throughout the night. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT. He catered to all age groups with awesome song selections. Very professional and responsive to all the planning prior to the wedding day. Johnny was the DJ at a friend's wedding last summer and the crowd loved the music. My now wife and I reached out to him the next day to bring him on as the DJ for our own wedding. During our wedding week, we had some last minute requests to the start time and some song selections, but Johnny handled it like a true professional. We had a great experience with Johnny and received numerous compliments from our guests and vendors alike on the song choices throughout our wedding. Johnny read the crowd well and knew exactly how to keep the dance floor going. Johnny was also willing to stay past the agreed upon time to continue on the party, recognizing that the dance floor was still packed and that guests didn't want to leave. At least a dozen people came up to me to shout in my ear about how great the DJ was at our wedding on August long weekend. Johnny is an absolute BEAST of a DJ. Has great sense for the what the crowd is enjoying and how to keep the dance floor bumping. My new wife and I (along with our 200 guests) had an absolutely blast! Not only did Johnny play all the songs we requested him to play for the important stuff, he pulled it off perfectly and exactly as I'd hoped (both our father-daughter and mother-son dances blended two separate songs together with very specific time-stamps!). He's a true professional and you can tell he cares a lot about putting on the best performance he possibly can for his employer. We had some minor hiccups with our venue, but Johnny was quick to troubleshoot and accommodate any changes demanded of him. Again, he's a P-R-O. Johnny also provided a projector/screen and photobooth services for the wedding and let me take creative control of the print layout for the pictures. Johnny was the DJ at our wedding reception on NYE last week. I had attended my cousin's wedding during the summer where he was the DJ and I just remembered how great of a party it was. The music was on point and he read the crowd well throughout the evening. I knew I wanted to work with Johnny for my party. Right from the beginning, he was quick with responses and addressed any questions I had. I live in Toronto but he never made it difficult to communicate. The service was very professional throughout the process leading up to the night and Johnny made sure he knew the type of songs or genres of music you wanted to hear throughout the night. On the night of the party, everything went very smoothly on his end. Sound was great and the dance floor was packed. That's all you want out a of a party regardless of what you're celebrating. Thank you Johnny and Nick for making a memorable day even more unforgettable. Love the personal approach of Entity. From knowing their equipment and providing excellent mics / speakers / lighting, to keeping open communication of what was expected and how it was going to be delivered, Johnny and Nick showed professionalism and their experience as top notch DJs. I felt reassured, especially since I'm a huge music guy and it was really important to me that the songs throughout the day were played JUST right. Extra thanks to Nick for suggesting that he would be able to facilitate my videos as well, thereby saving me what would have been additional expenses. Added value. As for the dance playlist that evening, two things: 1) I gave Nick a short sample of what I liked and it felt as if he read my mind. Song after song, I wanted to stay on the dance floor. 2) I've had MANY friends who attended the wedding that night, either ask me for the playlist, or tell me that the playlist was awesome. Not only does Johnny play music that keeps guests excited, dancing and singing, Entity coordinates with emcees, officiants, videographers, and venue staff to make sure audio through your whole wedding is as glitch-free and hassle-free as possible. Entity has worked with so many Vancouver vendors and venues throughout the years that his experience and professionalism stands out. Since 2012 when I was a guest at a wedding that Johnny DJ'd, I've told many friends about him. When it came time for my own wedding, it was an easy pick that he would be helping my husband and I with ours.
