Erika has been exceptionally knowledgeable on guiding me how to tackle my rescue Goose’s various quirky behavioural problems. She really recognizes each dog as a unique individual to come up with an training approach that will work best for both them and for you. She provided a very safe and controlled environment so I was able to work on his triggers while gaining a better understanding of his emotions and how I might be able to change those for the better. We’ve done a private training program and continue to participate in both reactive drop classes and agility weekly with Erika. Erika has done a super job helping me with my German Shepherd. Got him as a rescue at ten months of age. He had several issues and we needed a few private lessons at the beginning. Then he did agility, obedience,and Treiball classes with Erika. He is three now and is becoming an amazing service dog with Erika's continued help and guidance. More...

Erika is great! She takes the time to work one on one with you and your dog. She takes the time to answer any questions you may have and is always readily available when you have any questions or concerns. Eden Dog Academy was recommended to us by another dog trainer. We have a reactive German Shepherd and were making no progress with her training. We did a consult with Erika on line which was very helpful. From there we decided to drive the 3 hours from our home to meet her in a park in Guelph! Erika was amazing and used her well trained GSD in the training session with Elsa. It was decided that Elsa was going to need regular, intensive training and the distance was just too far for us to travel. We found another trainer closer to home who also works with reactive dogs. Erika continued to support and reassure me about the new facility where Elsa went. I am just sorry we don't live closer to Eden Dog Academy! More...
