About

Hi, my name is Drew Climie, thank you for checking my profile out. I am a Performance and Business Life Coach and Yoga and Meditation Instructor working in person and virtually from my home Vancouver, BC Canada. My career started in the Technology Industry but after years of stress and burnout I made the shift from doing what I can do to doing what I love to do.

Q&As

I love meeting new folks and connecting in meaningful ways. I love sharing the smiles of achievement with every new discovery or breakthrough. Supporting when life is feeling heavy. Seeing the excitement on faces when passion is flowing and dreams are being created. Sharing smiles, sharing laughter, and sharing our very human experience.

There came a point in my life where I realized I wouldn’t be truly fulfilled helping someone else realize their dream. I wanted the exhilaration and excitement of creating something truly unique and truly me.

Best answer to this is, you’ll know when we meet. We’ll start with a discovery call, if trust is felt, and a connection is sparked, we should work together. In the work I do trust and comfort are imperative.

What do I offer? Experience in the corporate world, experience starting and running my own business. My constant curiosity and my continual drive to learn ‘why’. My gift of finding ‘the dots’ others don’t and seeing their connections. A pretty constant smile and my ability to break tense situations with a laugh. To me, my greatest offering is my desire to help folks increase contentment and joy in their lives so they can spread it to others.

Yoga and coaching work great virtually or in person. The paddling retreats work best in person :)

Coaching and yoga are offered virtually or in accordance with BC health regulations if in person. The beauty of a paddling experience is they are outside where exposure is naturally limited. Once we are in or on our crafts we are automatically distanced.

Services

I coach people who know they want more from life and are ready for change. People who know they have so much more to offer. People who are ready to do the hard work it takes to grow.In our ever changing world people are increasingly faced with uncertainty and unwanted change that can undermine feelings of safety and security. Leaving people stressed, burnt out, and full of self doubt.

My vision is you are feeling strong, calm, and excited for your future. You are making decisions from a place of certainty, you are capable of joy and contentment. You are supporting and receiving support from the communities around you.

My philosophy is ‘slow it down’, notice what’s going on right now, and as much as we can in the moment, be present. His classes are guided through a trauma sensitive lens with a focus on accessibility. His classes are full of choice and encourage agency in the individual practice. Nothing brings a bigger smile to his face then to see folks making the choice to practice standing, or in a chair, and using bolsters, blocks, or straps to adapt a form to their body instead of trying to fit their body into a specific form.

In every session he guides you can expect a balance of grounding into sensation, movement, breathwork, and stillness. You will move your body, soften your breath, and practice focus and attention of the mind. He is trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, and in gilding a trauma sensitive yoga class but now most closely follows the Viniyoga lineage.

Often in life and business we need to remove ourselves from the situation we are in to gain clarity and restore creativity. My wilderness retreats provide an opportunity to disconnect and reset. To remove yourself from daily responsibilities and emersed yourself in adventure and discovery. They are an opportunity to slow down! An opportunity to slow the mind, seek clarity, and allow your creative true nature to emerge.
