I have ordered food from here before and it was always good usually getting pulled pork or brisket This time I ordered take out and got the Alabama chicken sandwich. It was not good, in fact it was awful. When I opened the styrofoam container I was welcomed with a rancid rotten smell. I tried the coleslaw which was hot but tasted okay. I then tried the sandwich which was the culprit of the rotten smell. It was slimy and just tasted wrong. We have ordered a few times now from Dog Days Barbecue. It was amazing every time!! The brisket, pulled pork, ribs are smoked to perfection and so juicy. The side dishes are delicious, Double D Mac n cheese is so nice and thick n cheesy with an added touch of bacon. Grandma’s loaded potato salad is loaded to perfection and the dill pasta salad is sooo tasty!! I would definitely recommend, the amount of food is not only delicious but plentiful. I can honestly say, I'll pass on pulled pork any day of the week. Whatever you did to the pork shoulder, keep it up. I'm super fussy with pulled pork since people have been butchering it for too long with their crackpot and bbq sauce hacks. And an "Ohhh Ya!!" to the ribs! ...didn't share the sausage either. Ordered the full rack of ribs, pulled pork nachos and brisket sandwich. Had sides of Mac and cheese, baked potato, and coleslaw. I literally recommend everything. I knew the ribs would be fantastic, but the brisket stole the show. Hands down the best brisket we have ever had. The pulled pork nachos were a favourite for our kids (us too).
