The update of this hotel is very well designed and reflects the local culture of the area. The room was large with a modern bathroom. The mattress was pretty uncomfortable with deep dips on both sides of the bed. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as their menu doesn't offer any plant-based breakfast options which is pretty surprising for a Canadian hotel in 2019. More...

First time stay here, and I had a great experience. Since becoming a Delta Hotel, its been renovated extensively.Comfortable bed, smart layout in the room with lots of USB/power ports at the desk and beside. Modern lighting that has a warm feel instead of that stark white lighting in so many hotels. Great modern TV that has the option to associate to your mobile to stream Netflix, Spotify, etc. Free wi-fi.Bathroom was clean and fresh, good water flow/temperature. Found the TINY sink to be one of the few flaws... its the size of an ice bucket.The on-site restaurant (Cordo) was good, although when ordering Room Service everything is packaged in "to go"/disposable (albeit biodegradable) packaging which I found a bit off-putting. I'd prefer it on a proper plate instead of a shopping bag.On-site parking was convenient, but there is a daily fee. It's a tight fit coming down the ramp and the in/out share the same lane. Pool looked great, but didn't try it this trip.Overall, I think this is my new favourite in town. I've tried the DoubleTree and FourPoints several times but the Delta wins this round. More...

This Delta Hotel is the Ritz Carlton, Miami Edition, Four Seasons of Kamloops. Everything was fabulous and lux. The service, location, view, dining, bar, rooms, cleanliness, the spa like smell when you enter, was beyond exceptional. Nothing was a miss.Since Kamloops's highest star hotel is a "3", I was worried but this one definitely should be categorized as a 4-Star minimum. My wife and I just had a wonderful staycation where we didn't have to drive hours to get to our destination. 15 minutes from home, we checked into the Delta Hotel in Kamloops and 15 minutes after that we were soaking up the sunshine from the outdoor pool/hot tub with a refreshing beverage in hand. We will be making this an annual event, and I imagine with the comments we got from friends and family, we will have company next year. ||Beautifully done renovations to the rooms, excellent customer service and the amenities were wonderful! ||I would highly recommend this as a place to stay while in Kamloops. I had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Marriott in Kamloops late Aug 2019 with my 5 year old daughter. ||||Check-in was seamless with the very helpful and professional David at the front desk. Beautiful lobby area with bar and an onsite restaurant.||||We had the pleasure of staying in the Mt Peter Suite and were blown away by the beautiful modern design and spacious room. A free bottled water upon your arrival in the room was a pleasant surprise. White fluffy robes were provided making it feel like a spa experience. A nice selection of coffee and teas were in the room along with beautiful quality soaps and shampoo. Even thoughtful ‘to go’ cups for coffee/tea were provided. The renovations to this property are top notch! ||||A lovely selection of food is provided at the onsite restaurant and available for room service as well.||||In the morning I enjoyed my coffee at the roof top pool as my 5 year old had a nice swim to start her day. Nice pool and hot tub area, complete with cabana covered sectional couches for lounging. Can’t believe why it only got 4.2 on google. because of business purposes, I came to Kamloops three times in a month, I would say it’s the best hotel in Kamloops. ..room design is modern and chic, furnitures n bathroom are very clean. It’s just renovated and everything is pretty upscale compare to Hilton and sandman. Gym is way bigger than Hilton.. amenities are new and clean.
