Without a doubt, Dashing Dawgs is the best pet store & groomer around! I'm beyond thrilled to be living so close to such an amazing store- one with a small town feel in the heart of the big city. Dashing Dawgs offers a great selection of high quality pet food and accessories... not to mention pet clothing so stylish, it makes me wish it was available in my size! Not from the Coal Harbour area, but we had our dog out for a walk in the area and came across this shop. Our dog does not like drinking from communal water bowls and was thirsty. There was no question in bringing our dog in and was offered a fresh dish of water for our "hieness"! We bought a couple of treats for our little friend and we're on our way. Hands down the best grooming and customer service I've experienced in Vancouver. I take my 3 year old Miniature Schnauzer in for regular hair cuts and have been doing so for over a year. Not only am I extremely pleased with the cut, but the friendliness and professionalism of all staff is top notch. Customer service here is 5 stars, and I wish that we had one of these up in Whistler. The hubby and I wandered in on our way to our massage from the Westin Bayshore. This is super close to the hotel (which is also very pet friendly) so if you have your fur baby with you and need something you can come here. We wanted to get our girls fur baby mani/ pedis and they only charge $15 for that. They also don't charge extra for restraining like other groomers do. One of my fur babies is terrified of getting her nails done and can be quite the challenge to hold still. You may want to call in ahead of time as their groomer isn't always there and sometimes does not work the full day. I was also intrigued with their hemp anxiety dog oil for my on anxiety ridden pets like my senior baby and my 2 year old puppy. I was tempted to pick up a bottle but it was $65! With my luck I'd buy it and then it wouldn't work, so we passed on that. The pricing in here is that of a higher end doggie pet boutique that has a groomer attached to it.
