We're going through a kitchen reno project and went through Bark + asking for referrals. We find it very difficult to differentiate electricians, however after interviewing several electricians through onsite visits, we decided to move forward with Edwin for a few reasons:
1. Edwin came very prepared and studied what we sent over
2. We find Edwin extremely humble & in my experience engineers that have this trait always deliver
3. The onsite visit was very professional. He didn't just take our plan, he added his insights and opinion on how to improve it / reduce unnecessary costs
4. Didn't just send over a quote, he walked us through an itemized list and explained not just the pricing but how he would approach the project. When hiring tradesmen its important for us to understand the process & have transparency to where the money is spent.
5. Working through a major reno, its important that all trades are working together. Edwin presented himself very professionally and assured us he would collaborate well with other tradesmen.
6. Lastly - Reviews are a big part of how we shortlisted electricians. You will not find many reviews yet for Edwin, however based on our onsite interaction and googling for background checks we are confident in moving forward.

What do you love most about your job?
Interacting with people of integrity and seeing a project from start to finish. Regardless of project scope, the relief in customers’ expression when problems are solved. Sharing in the expressions of joy when homes are transformed is a gratifying experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My drive for understanding the details of the jobs I undertake made it an organic progression to striking out on my own. The variability that comes with entrepreneurship is interesting too.
Why should our clients choose you?
I love my craft and respect my clients, they deserve the best. Clients can rest assured that I will be forthcoming and provide ample support should I deem us under qualified for their project. I’ve personally seen too many instances of poor quality installations either from cost cuts or lack of professionalism or knowledge. It happens seldom as I have 18 yrs experience in the electrical (residential and commercial) trade, however, I will humbly step aside for someone more qualified so my clients can get the very best.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We at Crypto Electric Inc. are fully vaccinated and operated throughout the pandemic. We mask up during in home visits and frequently clean our hands, preferably with soap and water.
