About

Dog trainer specializing in reactivity, aggression and socialization.

Aggression is misunderstood, it's a symptom, an outcome of a problem - it cannot be fixed directly. One needs to understand why the dog is showing aggression, find the root cause and work on that.

Q&As

Personal reward of seeing a dog go from reactive or aggressive to well behaved and trusted to be off leash in a short period of time. Also, changing an owners life for the better. It never ceases to amaze me how fast the dog can change when the owner understands why their dog is acting out, and when they come to trust.

Meeting people that feel defeated due to management of their dogs behaviors. My own dog has pushed me to get back into dog training and behavior modification.

Open minded to new ideas and techniques, love working with people and dogs. I have no fear of dogs, the assessment involves understanding why a dog is reactive or aggressive and showing the owner that the dog is capable. Gives the owner hope and confidence to move forward. Dogs can change so quickly when the owner is ready to have a healthy relationship with their dogs.
