I am really sorry to get a response such as this as it only demonstrates that you will continue to put people’s health and safety at risk with your incompetence.
I have documented proof of all my claims and several witnesses. I am not going to post the texts or other correspondence because they can be manipulated. That is why I sent you my final letter and copies of invoices in PDF format. You may wish to posts our chats but everyone knows you can pick and choose which ones that benefit you and edit them making them unreliable.
I spoke to James about your employee stealing toiletries from my basement and swearing constantly while I was in meetings when working from home. My colleagues heard him on several occasions. He helped himself to my kitchen without permission. He opened my closed bedroom door, then opened my closed door to my ensuite and walked in while I was using the toilet. He had no reason to be in my bedroom. This conversation happened at the Bath Depot, in person with James Saturday morning, December 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM. This is why I asked your employee to leave.
I agreed to having an engineer come to the home on several occasions. I told you to just let me know when you wanted to come. You never responded. I believe you were just trying to intimidate me and when it didn’t work, you would not follow through. I further asked you to come and speak to the contractors and plumber I hired to fix the damage and you refused. Look at the emails and texts.
As for scamming my insurance, that is a serious accusation. My insurance asked me to see if there was any other cause for the leak other than the crack in the tiles. That is what I asked James to do. I reported back to my insurance that there was no other cause. So I don’t know what you are speaking about. Please note that I have been very careful to document everything and have proof to back up what I say so that I am not liable. You accusing me of insurance fraud is completely unfounded and therefore liable.
I have spoken to several of my neighbors and they are dumbfounded at the accusations. In addition, I have been in contact with the contractor that repaired all the damage and did my renovation is very upset that you would implicate him in your story telling. Should you continue to make such outrageous claims, I will be forced to take additional legal action for defamation of character.
The bathroom renovation that you said you almost completed was completely unexceptionable. How can you expect that you can nail the plumbing pipe together with drywall nails and expect that there isn’t going to be any leaks? The plumber I hired to fix the damage said that it is a good thing that I never used the shower because my house would have been completely flooded. Furthermore, I have asked you several times to pick up your materials and you have not responded or done so.
Tiles were installed tiles directly onto the studs!!! How can you justify this? The entire wall was removed by hand in 3 seconds. I have it on video. It would have fallen as soon as someone leaned on it while bathing. This would have caused serious injury! Can you imagine a small CHILD taking a bath and sharp broken tiles falls on them! How can you be ok with this? James told me there was no mould. There was plenty of mould. Instead of removing the mould you covered it up with the tiles. You put my family at risk to our health!
I am not going to publicly bad mouth you as you have done to as that is just childish. I do feel that I have a moral responsibility to warn others that the work your company does so that they don’t suffer property damage or physical injury.
I have sent you an email responding to all 20 of your accusations. Again, I don’t feel compelled to bash you publicly.
If you wish to settle this matter fairly and professionally, you may contact me. It is not my intention to hurt your business but I need to be compensated for the actions of your company.

I would give Citywide 0 stars if possible. I hired them to renovate my bathroom and soon found out that they had absolutely no knowledge of basic construction standards.
They had incompetent subcontractors and plumbers working in my home for over 4 weeks and all they managed to do was damage my home.
They installed tiles directly onto the studs, nailed pipes together instead of using plumber’s putty, cut the lips off the bathtub and did not bolt it to anything. Did not use waterproof sealant, did not use ditra (waterproof membrane) on the floor before installing the tiles, used plywood nails instead of construction nails, used grout to repair holes they made in my walls, floor was raised almost 2 inches for some reason and was left with a 45 degree slant, and they damaged all my plumbing.
One of their contractors was peeing into the plumbing for my bathtub instead of using the powder room. When the new plumber was repairing the damage he found stale urine in the P-trap. The stink made me physically ill twice.
I had 4 water leaks during their construction. The final one caused so much damage to my kitchen ceiling, I had to have half the ceiling and my cabinets replaced and mould removed. The owners never came to my home to see the damage.
They lied about mould in the bathroom and covered it up with tiles. They did not use drywall, but glued heavy 12x24 porcelain tiles directly on the studs. The wall came down by hand in less than 3 seconds. They put my family in DANGER of being seriously harmed.
Their contractors yelled and screamed, swore excessively, even while I was working from home and in meetings, and stole household items from my storage in the basement.
In addition to the damage to my bathroom and kitchen, they stained my carpet, punched holes in my walls and linen closet, damaged my banister in several places and left the place absolutely filthy.
The new plumber said that if I had used the sink, toilet or shower, I would have had a major water leak and by the time I would have finished showering, the house would have been flooded.
It cost me almost $26,000 to repair the damage and the ‘additional’ costs to the original cost of remodelling the bathroom.
Citywide has not compensated me for any of the damage they caused. I will have to take them to court.
Citywide has NO PROFESSIONAL ETHICS at all.

DISASTER! Citywide hired incompetent subcontractors to renovate my bathroom. Their so-called plumber used plywood nails to attach the pipes they damaged…. yes, I said nails used to attach pipes. The plumber didn’t cap the pipes to the shower and the water leaked all night until my kitchen ceiling came down the next morning. They installed 12x24 porcelain tiles directly onto the studs, they cut the lip on the bathtub and tried to install it without bolting it down, they did not install drywall and covered up MOULD and said there was none.
