been here for happy hour and it was fantastic. the loung was warm, appies tasted amazing the flatbread being my favorite. but then had breakfast here and it was a major let down . the crapes had little to no fillings, the maple syrup was more water than syrup and the coffee tasted burnt. im mixed on recomending this place or not. A bit older style of a hotel particularly inside but very well maintained and very clean. Quick and hassle-free check in process. The one thing that caught my attention are the staff including the room attendants but most especially the front desk clerks. A huge shout-out to the management and staff of this Holiday Inn Express! We were a large group of family and friends (approximately 40 people) who were staycationing in the Red Deer/Sylvan Lake region. We made this reservation at the last minute. The management and staff here were extremely accommodating beyond anything I could have imagined. Every single request we made (and there were many), they were more than willing to accommodate.
