Leighton Tebay - Founder and Certified Counselor
For Leighton anxiety, depression, addiction and anger problems look different in each of us but underneath it all there is hurt, fear and shame. Each difficult experience of the past can weigh us down and life gets heavier and more difficult. At Cairis the goal is to help you find your own inner strength and compassion and then heal the hurt, transform the fear and release the shame. Leighton uses a gentle but powerful approach counseling to called IFS (Internal Family Systems), which goes beyond managing things like anxiety and anger and heal it at the source. This approach is well suited to help people heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect. Leighton has a master's degree in counselling and 4 years experience in private practice.

Alexandria Kennedy - Counselor
Alex helps clients with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. She specializes in helping people with ADHD, Autism, chronic illness and anyone who struggles find a way to fit in a world that doesn’t seem designed for them. Alex helps bring understanding to life’s difficult challenges. In Alex’s approach to therapy, she helps bring clarity to problems that keep us stuck. She helps clients find their strength and equip them with skills to manage their emotions and move from surviving to thriving. Alexandria recently graduated with a master’s degree in counseling and a great choice for those on a limited budget or have no insurance coverage.
