Took milo to Paula for his first ever groom with By the pond pet spa! I have been to several groomers with milo and have never been completely satisfied. when I picked milo up he was the cutest I've ever seen him, his fur so soft and smelled so very amazing . Paula was so caring and gentle with milo, he was so happy and calm.. We're new to Cambridge and just discovered Paula and By the Pond Pet Spa. Our Golden Retriever cross, Zoey, was groomed yesterday and she looks gorgeous! The space is very welcoming and Paula was fantastic with working around Zoey's issues with other dogs and made sure she felt safe and secure. Grooming has always taken 3+ hours, which means more stress for Zoey, and Paula was done in just over an hour and a half. We tried By the Pond Pet Spa for the first time yesterday. I have a more on the shy side, Havanese in full coat. Anyone with a dog in full coat knows that going to the groomer is super scary. Many groomers don't take the time and will just shave them down despite what you ask. I'm happy to say that Paula was great and definitely took her time to get Lulu comfortable and asked specifically what I was looking for. I could tell that she had a good time which was night and day compared to her previous experience. We'll definitely be back! More...

We have found the “dream team” at By The Pond Pet Spa. Our family can’t get over the GREAT experience our dog had today. Today I took my 5 year old tri colour Aussie to Paula’s spa. Almost one year ago we had him groomed in Guelph and the groomer who said they were familiar with this breed shaved him down. Needless to say his coat is very dry, patchy and hasn’t really grown. Paula and her assistant Judy worked their magic on rocky applying two different treatments on his coat. Rocky looks and smells amazing and I hope to work with Paula to restore his former beautiful coat The pet spa is an amazing place. I am truly impressed with the service we received today. Amazing! My 12 year old Golden Retriever is aging and getting weak in the hips so I was nervous to try a new groomer. Paula was so kind and caring! ! She took the best care of my pup while he was there by providing him with extra supports to make him comfortable during his visit. The set up is so welcoming and comfortable for dogs and owners. I took my tripawd Golden Retriever to Paula for the first time about 2 weeks ago. He had not been groomed in a long time due to surgeries. Paula was so kind and reassuring. She and her team did a truly amazing job with my pup and she even has amazing professional equipment to support dogs that need help standing. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!! We were looking for a groomer for our new fur baby. I looked into some groomers that were recommended in the area and just didn’t feel any were a good fit. We have a golden doodle and I found almost all of the recommendations trimmed this breed almost bald. I turned to a google search and found By the Pond Pet Spa, and I’m sooooo glad I did! Paula had great reviews...and after looking through photos and reading her “about us” section, I knew she was the right fit. When we arrived, Paula was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We were going to leave but our daughter wanted to stay to watch. Paula never made us feel out of place by staying. Instead, she walked us newbies through the grooming process and made us feel right at home. The spa is clean and beautiful and she is more than a groomer, she’s an artist! She’s gentle and patient and I will definitely be recommending her to all of our friends. Trust me when I say this is the perfect place to bring a dog, young or old, you’re in great hands!!! I've taken my Rough Collie to Paula several times now. He's always a challenge for me to groom at home as he has so much fur. Paula is able to take him for a spa day and make him look and smell wonderful. She gets at his undercoat which is always hard for me and makes him look and feel silky. I have been looking for a place like this for my Luna in a very long time. A few years ago I gave up on taking my dogs to groomers, because they’d always come back with either nicks or cuts which scared me terribly, or they’d have horribly shaved hair where they themselves would be embarrassed to leave the house. Paula has the perfect skill and personality to make any dog feel special. Luna has never looked so good and healthy. She also used a treatment called Nagayu that makes her hair look so shiny and helps with skin issues. I highly recommend By The Pond Pet Spa and our next appointment is already booked!
