Carey trains our mini Aussie shepherd pup, Rosie. She is extremely understanding, helpful, and effective. If something isn't "clicking" with our particular pup or lifestyle she can suggest alternatives with no hesitation. Carey will always be our go-to for training! HIGHLY recommended... If I could give her a hundred stars I would...but FB won't let me. More...

Carey is the best dog trainer! She helped me with my reactive Chihuahua and now he does not bark when other dogs walk by. She is worth every penny!

Carey is an amazing dog trainer! We were so lucky to have her help train our 5 month old rescue puppy Ziggy. Our dog was scared of so much in her everyday environment and with Carey's training Ziggy's confidence greatly improved and her anxiety disappeared. We have continued to work with Carey this past year to create lifelong positive behaviours within Ziggy, and we can see the results every single day. Carey is a compassionate, educated, patient, fun and incredibly reliable dog trainer / walker who I recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you again Carey for all your wonderful help. More...

Carey is an amazing trainer. My partner and I reached out to her at a time when we just didn’t know what to do with our dog and we’re at our wits end. Not only has she been amazing for our dog but also for us. She has given us the confidence to work with our dog effectively and even took our dog for a few nights to really work with Arya’s problem areas. Before working with Carey we couldn’t walk down the street with out our girl battling us... biting the leash, jumping up, barking, screaming, you name it our dog did it. After having sessions with Carey and doing a few nights of board and train our dog Arya is a different dog. What used to be a dreadful walk around the block is now something that my partner and I can both enjoy. I can’t even believe it. Carey has amazing dog knowledge, and knows how to empower her clients. I will forever be recommending Carey to everyone I know. I’m so so grateful for her. More...

Carey has been an absolute life saver! She is incredible with our two dogs, a Great Dane and chihuahua, who can be very difficult to control at times, but she makes it look so easy. You can see how they immediately listen to and respect her and how they actually enjoy and feel rewarded by the training and feedback. No one else seemed comfortable handling our Great Dane because of his size and strength, even though he's a sweetheart and a big baby, but Carey can do it all without worry. We are so excited to have found her and would absolutely reccomend her for any dog training, walking or sitting needs. Thank you Carey! More...

We were referred to Carey by our friends for our little Golden Retriever boy Cash. We have been blown away by how fast he has started to learn since we started with Carey. Even though he is only 14 weeks old he is already 40 pounds (will likely get to 100lbs) so we were worried about the pulling on walks, grabbing food from our hands or anything that fell on the floor and his jumping. Cash now walks like a champ and if I drop a treat 2 inches away from his face he will not even touch it until I say it is okay! (among many other training commands he has learned). I even went as far to stack treats all over his arms when he was laying down to test him and he didn't move a muscle! If you knew him before Carey this would have -never- happened! We HIGHLY recommend Carey - she is knowledgeable, patient and kind, super comfortable to be around and trains using positive reinforcement. One thing we loved about her package is you get so much one on one time with her you feel confident your time/money and energy is going to the right place. Victoria & Payton More...

i've had dogs my whole life and i've always felt very comfortable with my pets, especially my dogs but with having recently adopted an 8 week old puppy i wanted to get some extra help and support so i could ensure i was starting things on the right track. It was just me doing it solo while i worked so i wanted to ensure i invested in both my puppy and I's future. I was given Carey's info through a recommendation of a friend who had a dog that i knew had come a long way since starting with Carey. I ended up booking some one on one visits which i had never done before so i was a bit unsure of how the process would work. Carey was incredibly professional on our first visit but also really put me at ease. She was friendly and easy to talk to so I immediately felt comfortable but watching how she interacted with my dog really sealed the deal. In just one visit, i learned so much in regards to behaviours, common issues, things to try out etc. Stuff I had never read or been told, I could actually understand what my dog was doing and why. Not only did i get so much out of it, but my puppy Frankie did to. I could see Frankie loved Carey immediately but also really enjoyed the training which was great. I was given tips and ideas for home which to this day i still incorporate with amazing results. Since then i've completed my one on one training with Carey, she has boarded my pup, as well as I've sent her countless emails looking for assistance and it never fails to amaze me how dedicated Carey is to her job. She provides the ongoing support that many people need but are too afraid to ask for I think. I've watched her with many dogs and the relationship she builds with them is really one in a million. Check out her instagram for some serious sweethearts. She is especially patient and loving with rescue dogs who may have had a tough start in life but the progress they make with Carey just further shows you that there is always a way and you just need access to that kind of support. I've recommended Carey to countless friend and family members as well as complete strangers who I meet in the common dog parks. The way i see it, my puppy is now almost 10 months is happy, well adjusted and I know that I am doing the best for her that I can. I highly recommend Carey for really all of your training, boarding, walking needs and i wouldn't trust my pup to anyone else. Thanks for all you do Carey! More...

I literally can't say enough positive things about Carey! Being the dog mom of a very difficult rescue has been a struggle and finding someone I trust to care for my 3 year old boxer/ridgeback mix Lexi while I travel (which is a huge part of my job and I do often) has been a real challenge. Having a dog with behaviour issues can be incredibly isolating and hold us back from enjoying things we want to or make it stressful to do the things we need to do, but being able to have a safe haven while I am away as well as an opportunity for my dog to grow and learn is even better. Finding Carey was a huge relief and I truly appreciate how non-judgemental and open Carey has been since the very start. She has a genuine passion and gift for helping humans and dogs live more balanced lives together.Aside from just having fun walks and a safe place to stay...with Carey my dog is learning to be less nervous, make friends, build confidence and take direction in a safe environment that is catered to her needs and the other dogs. Carey is incredibly knowledgable in dog behaviour and understanding emotional needs of different dog personalities, ages and breeds. I am amazed at how in-tune Carey is with body language cues and managing difficult situations. I would have never imagined that my girl Lexi could learn and play with a couple of puppies, run along side a bike (when she is terrified of bikes!) or spend a night in a crate without throwing a tantrum..but Carey explores new challenges in a safe and effective way so that the dogs can enjoy fuller more comfortable lives. I tend to just manage things or do what works, but Carey encourages me to grow with Lexi and find new ways to better her behaviour. She also sends me adorable updates of Lexi having fun (makes a nervous dog mom a lot more comfortable and able to relax!) and also invaluable feedback on her progress in her training sessions with easy to follow direction on how I can continue the work at home. I love seeing the videos and photos of how well Lexi is doing on her walks, playing with new dogs or learning to run a long side a bike. I appreciate how Carey considers everything a learning opportunity and makes the absolute most of every minute they are together. Aside from the learning and training, Lexi gets loads of exercise mentally and physically with Carey. She also gets a whole lot of love! Carey and Lexi have a special bond and I have seen that with every dog she is with. They just love her and trust her! Might be the delicious variety or treats she has or the daily raw bones they get while staying with her haha but I love to know that Lexi is getting spoiled and loved just like I would do, but also with the training and attention I sometimes don't have time to do. Carey offers a really unique service and one that I can't say enough positive things about!!My dogs experience with Carey is truly different than any other dog walker or boarding facility I have used. I would absoloutely suggest her to anyone with a dog of any age for training, walking and boarding. Thank you Carey! More...

I had my free consultation with Carey yesterday and I was very impressed. Carey went above and beyond to help me understand my new dog better. We recently adopted a 6-year-old Boston Terrier named Lady who was previously a breeding dog. We have a lot of work to do in terms of teaching Lady basic commands and teaching her how to walk on a leash. Carey gave me tons of tips for helping Lady to adjust to her new life in the big city. Carey is obviously very knowledgeable about dogs and understands how to connect with them. I can tell that Lady already loves Carey and I know she is looking forward to their walks. The services that Carey provides extend far beyond just dog walking! More...

We have been using Carey to take care of our cat since our boarding place closed.  Im a nervous mum but carey made me feel at ease and made sure she knew all of djangos little quirks before we left. Our cat was much happier being in his own home and having someone drop in on him rather than being taken to a boarder.  Carey is a professional and she is really great with him. Will definitely use her again in the future! More...
