What do you love most about your job?
My clients. I like working with driven people who visibly enjoy what they are doing. Gives me this "changing the world" feeling. The job has provided me with a wealth of understanding and knowledge that permits me to add value where ever I go or end up. What I like best about my job is that a primary responsibility involves interacting with employees on all different levels of the organization and across all functional areas. Function, flexibility, and freedom.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to help others in my shoes. I came to Canada with a Master's Degree in Flight Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance but I wasn't fortunate enough to lend myself a job in the above-studied field. (why? long story). Anyway, I had to reinvent myself. I went into Security Industry. It took me years of trenching and teaching myself, reading everything I could, and trying every approach. Took classes, and went to seminars and conferences. Obtained Security certificates, and accreditations. Attended Police courses and Police Academy. After spending years working in Security Industry gaining experience and perfecting myself I finally opened my company Bond Security so that I can be in a position to help other people as well. No regrets!!!

I can not provide security services online or remotely because our duties and responsibilities are to:
-inspect and patrol premises
-monitor property entrances and report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
-respond to alarms and react promptly
assist people in need and make sure that all exits, doors, and windows are secured.
We are constantly on the move.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
SECURITY AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES DURING COVID-19
When a Security Agent is in the store he will be wearing Bond Security regular uniforms or high visibility Bond Security safety vests and will:
* greet and direct customers at the primary entrance or exit
* maintain occupancy limits
* maintain social distancing
* wear masks at all times during their shifts
* wash their hands or sanitize their hands
* enforce item quantity limits.
In addition, if the maximum occupancy has not been reached. The Security Agent can assist in collecting carts and sanitizing cart handles, as necessary. All Security Agents must adhere to the NO TOUCH, NO PURSUIT, and NO RESTRAINT policy.
Uniformed or Vested Security Agents can still approach an individual to deter shoplifting and instruct them to leave the store.
RETAIL SECURITY
Detect shoplifters, Prevent theft and report incidents. Customer services and employee protection
LOSS PREVENTION(Plain Clothes)
Detect and apprehend shoplifters. Filing out police reports and burning footage of thefts and developing and distributing reports of repeat offenders. Protect store assets(Staff and merchandise)
SECURITY CONCIERGE
Provide high quality services to clients and staff, first contact and safeguarding(controlling and monitoring access to buildings and CCTV systems and dealing with guests/clients requests, emergencies, other duties)
MYSTERY SHOPPING
Evaluate, and monitor the operational and behavioral performance of a business and staff
MOBILE PATROL
Mobile patrol secures premises and personnel by patrolling property with visibly marked vehicles, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting offices, and access points, and permitting or refusing entry.
ALARM RESPONSE
Mobile patrol guards respond to security alarms when triggered and immediately take action to mitigate the situation. Hi-visible marked vehicles are used.
PRIVATE INVESTIGATIONS
Conducting surveillance, Assembling evidence, Preparing reports, Interviewing people, Collecting evidence for clients, consulting with clients, Attending courts, Undercover investigations, etc.
WEDDING SECURITY
Escorts guests to their cars at night, Customer services, Theft prevention of gifts, Theft prevention of belongings, Access control to establishments, Concierge security, Violence prevention, Security surveillance, and patrol, Assisting people, and Authorized entrance to people.
