What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
When I bring various costumed characters with me to a dance party of an event with dancing, I move around and interact with the people there and my intention is to make them feel at ease and have fun.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Bright, fun, considerate, gentle, improvisation, unique.
What do you love most about your job?
Making my audience feel happy and getting them to want to get in on the fun!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been motivated to do my own thing. I had the good fortune of receiving a Canada Council grant when I stated with Ta Daa, and early on, I meet up with the wonderful Evelyn Roth (creator of the Zoo) and she quickly invited me to combine with her to present the NYLON ZOO. Soon it became my own event.

I could do on-line classes in Baroque dance and Renaissance Dance, storytelling with my puppet Stumpy, and a sing-along.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I can't wear mask but I keep my distance with thew zoo by encouraging parents to dress the kids, and a little less interaction in the stage shows.
THE TA DAA LADY SHOW
Ta Daa Lady is a Charlie Chaplin-like character who stumbles her way through all sorts of crazy antics; a horn by the name of Tickle Horn, a snake puppet called Riddle Snake. With storytelling, music, dance and puppets and interactive songs like "Red Sock Soup” and a song about rain called "Wash it Away". It's highly interactive and fun combination of storytelling, music, dance and puppets & interactive Songs with environmental theme.
Nylon Zoo
Angela Brown, The Ta Daa Lady, is owner and operator of the Nylon Zoo – a fun, interactive and lively event with a variety of inflatable sculptures for interactive storytelling inside and colorful costumes for parades and dances for the whole family! Great for parties, special events, festivals. Can be indoor or outdoor.

I specialize in children's entertainment (and adults. I am known as The Ta Daa Lady, based in Vancouver, Canada. I have a variety of shows for family audiences: Nylon zoo, stage shows, interactive storytelling, roving characters and puppets.
Baroque and Renaissance Dance performances & workshops
I offer workshops in these two historical dances. This kind of event suits big parties of weddings. I know how to get everyone involved and having fun.
