How long have you been in business?
Baluarte Services was created in August 2022 as a result of the needs of the post-pandemic market, where cleaning and mainly disinfection of the home or workplace remained a very important issue. We began operations in mid-September of that year with only two employees who fortunately still work with us.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Of course, we have the necessary materials and tools to cover the services described. However, in the event that the client wishes to provide the company with its own equipment or materials, will be considered in the corresponding budget.
What do you love most about your job?
I love having the possibility of improving through our services the environment where our clients share their time and space. Having the satisfaction that they feel comfortable and happy with our work because their opinions are the basis of our growth.
Something we also love is that by working as a team with our clients we allow ourselves to learn from them by performing our services more efficiently.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Impact the growing need to maintain work and living areas in quality environments.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We updated our work plan prioritizing by areas: considering that not all areas require the same attention. For example, high-touch surfaces (sinks, doorknobs, elevator buttons, etc.) are set as priorities.
We adapt our scheme according to the size and availability of the current environmental services or cleaning workforce, the type and availability of cleaning products and the personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to clean the designated site, thus protecting our clients and at the same time our collaborators.
House cleaning
Although each user decides what to clean, these are the most common tasks we carry out:
Dust cleaning of all rooms
We are talking about bedrooms, living room, ironing room. In this sense, dust will be cleaned on walls and ceilings, furniture, cabinets, radiators, etc.
Floor scrubbing
Each one with the most suitable product (ceramics, wood...).
Cleaning closets
Outside and inside if the user wants.
Crystal Cleaning
This includes the rails and blinds.
Kitchen cleaning
It is probably one of the rooms where the most emphasis should be placed due to the inevitable accumulation of grease. We are talking about cleaning tiles, hoods, appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator) and cabinets (inside and out), floors, etc.
Bathroom cleaning
An important part is the tiles, shower screen, floor, furniture (inside and out), mirrors, shelves and products.
Cleaning of passageways
The hall, closet and hallways will also be thoroughly cleaned.
Basement cleaning. We Dust the hard-to-reach areas, mop the floor and combat the musty smell.
